Answer:	Thank you for your interest in our products. Our storage sheds are made of high density polyethylene. One of the features of this plastic is that it is easy to clean because materials do not adhere well to it. Unfortunately, this property prevents adhesives or paints from sticking well.

Answer:	Okay, I will say this much. I read here, and went to Rubbermaid. Shelves are SUPPOSE to be 28.25 X 9.25. After I received my storage units and put it together the actual dimensions of my unit's shelf are 29.5 X 10. This was for the top shelf. So, for those whom are curious, go to the local hardware store and get a 6'X10" common pine board and cut to length. Cut out the corners per the recommendation and these will fit very snug.

Answer:	I bought the smaller ones, but they are definitely strong, well-made cast iron brackets. Using 15" deep brackets to hold up a 20" deep shelf should be strong enough. Just be sure you use adequate wall anchors and screws to mount the brackets to the wall. and use enough brackets along the length of the shelf to support the weight without the shelf board sagging under the weight.

Answer:	I just measured the side-to-side distance and got a “1x6 “ board @ Home Depot. They will cut it to your measurement without charge !

Answer:	yes the lid does need to be opened 1st to open thre front & i would say it's about 3 inches or so but I agree the loop that comes through the top could be cut off but then there would be nothing to keep the front doors closed

I just went outside and measured, the interior dimensions are: EXACTLY 48 inches wide from side to side, but the doors are not straight across, they are shaped like a wave and from front to back the measurement is only 20" at its narrowest and about 22 at the widest.
