Question:	Can it shred foam
Answer:	I have the 14 amp and was looking at this 15 amp to replace it. Yes it is obnoxiously irritate-the-neighbors (and even myself) loud. But after moving to Florida with mostly sand for a garden, I've come to consider yard waste a valuable resource. So despite being obnoxiously loud, I use it. :)
Question:	Can it shred succulents
Answer:	I have yet to have it jam up. That being said, the opening to feed in material is rather small. As long as you are feeding in material no larger than the opening, you should have no problems. I have also found it works better on small branches than on leaves. It takes some effort to not only feed leave in, but to get them through the cutter. I put a stone in the hopper that I did not see in some leaves and had to take it apart and flip the blades to the other side. Blades are reversible (2 cutting surfaces) and it is really easy to open it up. Keep the stones out and it will chip away for a long time. The chips are rather small in my opinion. They are similar to chainsaw chips.
Question:	Can the earthwise gs70015 15-amp electric garden chipper/shredder shred bamboo

Answer:	This could not be used to shred foam.
Question:	How is this different from the cj602e? better cutting blades
Answer:	As long as it fits down the chute, it will chip most things. I've found smaller twigs and leaves pass without being chipped or shredded very well. Depending on the size and rigidity of the succulent plant matter, your success will vary. The best luck I've had is with green wood that is between a quarter inch and 1.5 inches. Smaller than that and it seems to be able to pass through the blade slit. Larger than that and it can jam or bog the motor. The dryer woods also tend to be 'dryer/harder' on the blades and motor. I don't imagine succulents will stress the machine, but depending on the thickness and size, you may struggle to get them to cut instead of just pass through the blade slit.
Question:	Both this model and the cj602e have 15a motors but this one can chip larger sticks? what are the differences between this and its cheaper predecessor
Answer:	It shredded some bamboo before it got jammed and I had to remove the blade cover and unjam the chipper. Took me a good 30 minutes to figure why it wouod turn on for 10 seconds before it shut down.

Question:	I had a load of wood chips delivered from a tree service and those chips are kind of large. Will this chip those chips down to a smaller size
Answer:	Page 9 of the engine manual shows SAE 30 for temps from 50 to 100+F but it probably won't make any difference since 10w - 30 will be the same once warmed up. The manual actually calls for 15w - 40 for most of the temp range but again any difference will not be significant with your average temps.
Question:	Will this handle rose clippings? Thanks
Answer:	Actual amount of oil is in the manual, but it is less than a quart.
Question:	How well does it do with bamboo? I have the yellow groove variety. Some of the stalks are over 1 inch thick
Answer:	Not really.
Question:	I just bought a few acres with thousands of 1 inch diameter "weed" trees on it. Can I run this for several hours a day every day
Answer:	The owners manual for the engine says to add fuel stabilizer if an ethanol blend is used. Like everything else it's all made in China. This is only useful for the smallest branches and twigs, I used it for 2" or smaller oak and manzanita branches and the cutters dulled quickly. Pine branches with needles clogged it up quickly. There's an access panel to get to the blades to sharpen them but you still need to take it apart to get them completely off. I'm thinking about sending it back.
Question:	Manual recommends sae 30 oil, but this page recommends 10w-30 - which is correct? average temp here is 50-90 degrees fahrenheit
Answer:	What you see is what you get. The white plastic insert comes out and you plug in your extension cord. This machine is a beast. It will "devour" a pile of freshly (day old) cut shrubs in a short time. I "processed" a pile of trimmed crape myrtles 12'x12'x4' in less than 2 hours. I chip/shred into a kids plastic swimming pool and then shovel the results into a single 50 gallon bag that weighed nearly 50 lbs. The "beast" never clogged or stopped running the entire 2 hours.
Question:	So oil is not included. how much oil is needed
Answer:	Terrible. I purchased it for that reason; I wanted a sturdy, toothed shredder, not one of those glorified string trimmers. However, the feed throat is only 5"x1 1/4", large enough for about five leaves at a time. And those leaves I did feed through the machine came out the discharge chute slightly mangled, but certainly not shredded. I set it in the back of the shed, sadder but wiser, and bought a Toro 51621 UltraPlus shredder vac. Emptying the bag is a hassle, but it really sucks up the leaves, and pulverizes them. If you can handle the leaf dust, it would make quick work of your leaves using it without the bag.

The (2), also jams much more easily, with the only remedy being...turn off the machine, unplug it, unscrew the locking bolt to the hopper, lift the hopper, find the culprit, and manually rotate the wheel that holds the blades in the opposite direction with a stick or a gloved hand until the "culprit" breaks free, pull it out, close the hopper, screw the hopper bolt back down tight, plug it in, turn it on, and proceed. You can hit the reset switch too for good measure. Now with the (3), it rarely jams due to its "squirrel wheel" design. When you look into the hopper, it is as if your are viewing the top of a "squirrel wheel." The material is pulled to the right and then crushed inbetween the wheel and a counter plate. (3) slows down as it processes the bigger pieces of material, but rarely, if ever, stops. Also, you always have the option of reversing the wheel, which spits everything back up/out. It is not perfect. Occasionally, a branch gets cut into an awkward size due to a protruding limb that gets snapped in half...and just rattles around in there. A stick and patience and time usually solves this, but every once in a blue moon, you have to turn off the machine, disconnect the power, and go fishing with a metal hanger. The chunks from (3) are much larger than (2), and often not as clean looking due to the tremendous efficiency of the guillotine like action of (2). The shear number of times that you spend unjamming (2), makes it a much less efficient use of your time. Let's face it, most of us do not love yardwork. We do it because it has to be done. We don't want it to take any longer than it has to... as we have other things to do with our time. So, spend the few extra bucks and get (3). The work will get done, it will look almost as good as (2), and you can get on with your life.

Answer:	It is good at chopping up sticks. It will be difficult to feed the chips into it. It may work but it will be more work than it is worth.
Question:	Wondering if this chipper is good for dry hard wood? I have tons of dead ash

Answer:	I have never used it on bamboo, but it does very well on branches of sheflera and allspice up to a little more than two inches in diameter. Since bamboo is hollow it should do well. I really like my machine , use it weekly, and will buy another one if I need to.
Question:	Dose this greatcircleusa mini chipper come with a warranty
Answer:	I have had two of these. The first lasted 2 days and it was run for 4 hours each day then it stopped. Amazon replaced the chipper with no trouble. The second chipper is WONDERFUL. I only chip up to 1" trees/branches and this thing is a monster. I have used this for at least 10 days in a row for 4 hours a day. I just sharpened the blades and it is still cutting great.

Answer:	Based on my experience so far, you should be fine if you keep the branches under 2" in diameter. There's only so much a 6HP engine can do. I've fed it dogwood, Maple, and eucalyptus and it only really struggled with the eucalyptus.

Answer:	Not tried privet hedge, did very well with fir tree clippings and branches. The branches handled were over 1.5IN and it just chipped away. Very pleased with this purchase, not the cheapest shredder but works extremely well.

Answer:	This device is pretty strictly a chipper and does not do any shredding. Depending on the size of the mulch/nuggets it would definitely chip them down in to finer pieces, but you'd really need to control how many you put in at a time. Also there is an adjustment to where you can tighten it down to chip smaller pieces, but you'll just have to experiment to see what works best and gets you the smallest chips without clogging/stopping the device.

Answer:	Dear customer: This shredder works on Bamboo stalks, but it depends on its size and dryness. The dry wood turns into sawdust basically, the more wet wood will create larger pieces – The combination of dry and more wet wood makes the best chipped output mixture. Also bear in mind, do NOT use fresh wood that is still green – it needs to dry out for a few days otherwise it can become gummy in the shredder and ruin the mechanism/blades. You can’t do big branches over 1.77″ – so large logs won’t go in – don’t even try, and you can’t get them into the slot anyway. You will know what you can put in based on the hole size at the top slot. If you have branches that have offshoots going in all crazy directions, clip those off so that they don’t cause issues with the chipper sucking in the branch. The main pieces should be fairly straight to go down easily. Hope this answer will help you and thanks for your question！

Answer:	I tried to write a review about this, and Amazon cancelled it twice! I STRENUOUSLY recommend against buying this until they get their packaging issues sorted out. It does come mostly assembled. You have to install the wheels, handlebar and foot-bar. But in the case of my recent order, it arrived damaged because the packaging is so terribly inadequate. We jumped through a few hoops to return it, and ordered a replacement. It arrived with even more damage! It is shipped in a simple cardboard box with terribly insufficient bands of very thin (1/8th inch) wood stapled together. That arrangement might be JUST enough protection when they are still in original shipment on a pallet. But it is woefully inadequate for the treatment it receives once it's in the 'care' of the final shipper. BEWARE!
