| Answer: | I believe the black ones are more for garden hoses, as they can handle negative 45 degree weather and you can also use them for hot water up to 250 degrees, like a washing machine or kitchen sink. They are thick squishy good 100% rubber, and really stop leaks because they squish and form a great seal. The red ones are rubber silicone and are rated up to 400 degrees, like for a hot water heater. (That's my take on them just by reading the description, I have not bought any red ones). I changed out every single washer in all my hoses, nozzles, water timers, and valves. They all had the crappy washers that are not as thick, kind of slick and hard, so they couldn't squish down into the crevices that water escapes. I am so happy I did, no more water running down my arm or squirting my feet! You will be happy too. You might buy one pack, try them out and then go back and order 3 more packs, like I did! |

| Answer: | No. This adapter just looks you to connect a garden hose to the pressure washer. The original adapter was all plastic and would crack. |

| Answer: | Yes BUT one end is 3/4" FPT (female pipe thread) and the other is 3/4" GH (standard garden hose). That's why you can't just attach the garden hose directly and need an adapter. There are cheaper alternatives (made of brass, which is also tougher) available over the counter at the big box stores. |
