You can adjust the sweeper and at its lowest level it will sweep up all the gravel too. So I am certain it will do fine with pine needles and pine cones. I love this sweeper and it makes cleaning up leaves and large & small sticks after high winds a breeze. My mower is 54” so I purchased the 52” sweeper. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I have a few here and it has picked them up. I have more pine needles than gumballs if you are meaning the sharp balls from a gum tree

Answer:	I am not sure but I should think so -- at least the rubber top! Oxo is an excellent maker of kitchen utensils and I imagine the bristles would be BPA free. You might put that question to Oxo directly. Even if not, a person is using the brush on things under a stream of water usually and in that case it shouldn't be much of a problem either way. Just my opinion.
Question:	I have a John Deere X 360 with 48" deck ,no grass catcher attacment. Will This work, or do I have to buy other attachments to make it work
Answer:	It is firm enough to remove most of the corn silks without damaging the kernals, if that is what you mean. I find it is stiff enough to clean root veggies, but not tear the skin of a thin skinned tomato. So far, the bristles have kept their shape. I throw it in the dishwasher to sanitize.

Question:	Can this pick up walnuts
Answer:	Yes, it can pick up walnuts. You will need to make sure the grass is cut low and the brushes are on a low setting. It may take a couple passes.
Question:	How easy is it to empty? Can I empty into paper yard waste bags
Answer:	There is a rope that attaches to the top back part of the chute. Once full, you pull the rope to lift the chute which will dump the grass or leaves from the bottom of the chute. You will need to load the waste into the bags by hand.
Question:	Will this pick up small rocks in the yard
Answer:	Thank you for your question. The answer is 'it depends'. If your yard is such that the appropriate brush setting is low (i.e. grass very short) and there are small rocks present, the Brinly sweeper is able to pick them up (as it will work on pavement as well). The trick is when there are areas of long or thick grass mixed with bare spots and the brush setting needs to be higher so that it won't drag in the grass. In that case - the brushes will tend to 'skip over' the bare spots so will not be able to reach the small rocks. It's important not to set the brushes too low and cause the sweeper to drag or the gears will work against the brushes and wear prematurely. Hope that helps, and good luck with your project!

Answer:	It holds the equivalent of about 1 large black garbage bag of leaves. These sweeper work great if you keep up with the leaves. If you wait until all of the leaves have fallen from your trees then you'll probably have to dump every 75 feet or so

Answer:	My experience with this sweeper is that is does quite well in picking up debris (small twigs, etc), as the brushes seem fairly rigid.

Answer:	Yes you can attach it so that you are at different heights BUT if rock is uneven you will probably still pick up some.
Question:	My land is really bumpy, will this still work, or does it need a pretty smooth, level ground
Answer:	Bumpy or small hills? It does best on level ground but I can still go slow and it will pick up stuff. If you go too fast it's not heavy enough to stay on the ground and what you've picked up will go flying. I have some small rolling hills and they are a pain but it works. We are still working on leveling some mole tunnels but it still works there. Just go slow. This is big.

Question:	Will this fit a hustler raptor 52inch without the engine guard
Answer:	I don't know anything about that specific model. It didn't exactly fit my mower so I just drilled a couple hole where I wanted to mount it. It is a solid hitch plate. You would need to decide if the rear of your mower would handle a load and if you can mount the mounting bolts in that area.
Question:	Can I put a ball hitch on this
Answer:	3/4” hole
Question:	Will this fit toro zero turn 50" mower
Answer:	Measure the space between the holes on the back of the mower -- are they the same dimension as the hitch bracket. It fit the Toro mower I have.
Question:	gauge steel? Seems pretty thin. My deck is 7 gauge, this looks inadequate
Answer:	3/16” steel is what description states. That’s what I received and after installing and using, was very adequate for my mower and attachments. I’m very happy with mine and it’s performance.

Answer:	I don't know if they can be used on a craftsman,but I'm sure it can. They are very easy to change,it takes about 15 minutes or so apiece.

Answer:	I think it is 5. Inches. It worked perfectly!
