Answer:	About the same difference between a Cadillac and a Yugo. Balancing a blade with the Stens will greatly reduce stress on the motor shaft bearings. The trim nail not as well. I cannot give you a quantitative value. I bought my Stens to keep my mower in good condition. BTW, $300? I see it listed for $180. Or you can get the Oregon for $102. The trim nail will definitely give you your money's worth for the cost of the nail.
Question:	Will this work for blades with a star center opening and not a circular center
Answer:	I don't know for sure, but I think it will fit over the cone and center up on the balancer. The star configuration of the blade's hole must be able to center up on your mowers spindle OK, so if you think about it, I can see no reason why the blade would not center onto the balancer. This balancer is a little pricey, but you won't be sorry that you own this precision made tool.

I bought mine (nearly 2 yrs ago) without, about $5 cheaper, and use one of the strap buckles (no bag but the buckles are still there) to secure my waterproof phone bag. It's got over 200 miles on it and is currently being used on a 15-foot sit-in I built. The straps need periodic adjustment & the fabric is loose (not torn or ripped just loose) from the foam in the center of the backrest but it still works fine. I need the extra support, broke L1 some years ago, a plain back band didn't cut it.

Answer:	It can but is almost impossible to use since the slithers then bump will move it. You only want the deck level from side to side. You want the back of the deck about 1/4” higher than the front. This will give the smoothest cut an wont drag the blades thru the already cut grass.

Answer:	The wheel notches are what they are. This is for mower decks that are adjusted by turning leveling screws. These mowers can be adjusted left to right and front to back.

Answer:	This instrument measures the height of your blades from a level flat surface. You need to turn all your blades to the front of the mower deck; then, slide this under the deck and place under a blade and it will tell you how far off the surface it is. Then, go to the next blade and do the same until you have all the measurements. This will tell you if any one blade is hanging lower than the others that your deck needs adjustment.
