| Answer: | Yes but NO....it has a standard guitar port but they are NOT IN LINE with all the echoes and tone control....oh and it’s a Left or Right side only. They call this Channel 5 and 6! If you want you’re guitar to plug in so you have tone and echo control, (Channel 1-4) you’ll have to buy a three prong adapter that crosses over to guitar port. WATCH OUT THO, THESE LIKE TO CRACKLE AND BUZZ. Buy good ones!!! I bought this system thinking I could carry my guitar in one hand and this system in another and set up in no time. It sounds okay at best! I added a powered subwoofer. Now the hopes of carry in and out are no longer a reality. Voice sounds good, but guitar straight in doesn’t. Hince the sub I added. Your guitar will sound like one made out of a tin box! I hate that I bought this system! Go for a good one and pay a grand! You won’t regret it. Also the system gets hot and starts sounding worse. You have to turn it off when not playing. I thought I could Bluetooth to my phone when taking breaks from performing and letting some tunes play, nope, turn it off to cool down or sound like poo on the next set! This is no way close to a pro set up. If you are messing around in your home, sure. This will not last more than a few gigs and it got set up in my basement as a practice set. |

| Answer: | As Michael said then you cannot hook the speaker up directly from your "Laptop To Speaker"But all you have to do is have a receiver or an amplifier as well.It would work like this "Laptop To Receiver To Speaker" ... in this case, you just get a cable like this (http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Audio-Cable-12-foot/dp/B000067RBT/ref=pd_bxgy_e_img_y) which connects your Laptop to Receiver. and then you use normal speaker wire from Receiver To SpeakerIt is the came setup as mentioned above if you use an amplifieruse a receiver if you want to also be able to listen to FM/AM radio, and plan to hookup more things like a DVD Player, TV etc. it gives you more options to hookup more things, but it usually gives out less Watts. You still would be able to get a good sound out of the speaker this way.Use an amplifier if you just plan to hookup only your laptop. An amplifier gives less options of hookup many things, but it usually gives out a lot more Watts, so you would get more power/base/sound of your speaker. | Answer: | These are the worst built speakers I ever purchased. The crossovers have burned out - specifically one ceramic capacitor on the board - even burnt the board black and bubbled it. This happened on every one I bought. The first one I found a snot filled face mask, those paper dust masks you can buy at Lowe's or Home Depot. The snot was dried and "glued" the paper mask to the inside of the cabinet. It was disgusting. All I can say is DO NOT BUY THESE!!! They sound good and better with the 18" subs. I have behind 3000 watt amp that drove these two PADH212's. But these speakers are NO GOOD and do not last very long before burning out. Pyle customer service is non-exsistant, and they do not help at all. Amazon was kind enough to replace the defective products but the replacements ended up with the same issues. I sold the pair for $200 on Craigs List. I recommend buy Peavey or a very known reliable brand - NOT PYLE. Be warned. By the way - these are built in China. I think the Chinaman who built them thought it was a joke on Americans to put a nasty snot mask in the cabinet. |
