Answer: It depends on the sizes of the original belt. This belt is 1/2" across the back (widest area) and 161" outside circumference. Your manual should tell you what the manufacturer's belt number is. You can cross reference this at V-Belt Supply.com. If you don't have the manual and the numbers are worn off the original they may still be able to help you or you may be able to find the manual online you going to Swisher and put in your model number. There may be more than one belt based on year of manufacture. (My Cub Cadet has three different belts available based on year of manufacture.). So you need to do some research.

Answer: I purchased mine in 2013. Have not had to replace it yet. Kevlar belts are the best belts you can get. They don’t stretch or wear out as much or as quickly as standard belts. Warranty or no warranty I buy only Kevlar belts.

Answer: I'm sorry. I don't understand your question. Spindles and deck rebuild? The old review was about a Kevlar belt that fits many lawn tractors. They worked great, however I no longer have that MTD. You'll have to look up your specific Cub Cadet and see if one of these belt numbers is on the list. It's all mostly about length of the belt.
