They wear out faster when not using a thermostat because they run longer and at higher temperatures. |

I have wrung them out and laid them out to dry and they were still just as good as new and the same color as they were when I got them. Also there are some kind of little beads inside them so they rattle and that was also not affected from soaking in the water bowl all night long . I would not suggest putting them in the dryer because the inside does have plastic in it that could melt. I think if you need to wash them it would be best to hand wash them and let them air dry after patting them with a towel. |

Twist and pull the spark plug wire cap to remove. Once removed use a spark plug wrench and socket and turn counter-clockwise to unscrew the spark plug and remove it from the engine.
