Check owners parts list (or send us the model number, we will check for you) and make sure your 42" deck used 130794 3 mounting hole spindle assemblies (128774 housing, 137646 shaft) and the 144959 deck belt. The 2 130794 heavy duty spindles have threaded mounting holes and includes hardware (3 mounting bolts, pulley lock nut, pulley spacer, blade bolt/washer). Warning, very important to install the spacer under the pulley. Failure to install the spacer or the installing with the spacer in the wrong position (on top of the pulley) will result in damage to the pulley and or spindle shaft in a short period of time. The 2 134149 blades are made in the USA with heat hardened steel and have 5 point star mounting holes.

Answer:	I found that "A NASCAR race car is measured to be about 125-130 decibels"....the Hearos earplugs reduce the decibles up to...or down to... 20 decibles, so that would be 105-110 decibles of noisen depending of seating, with the earplugs in. Based on CDC statictics, you could listen to about 91 decibles of noise for about 2 hours, without it starting to impact hearing. So I would recommend buying/using a stronger decible reducing earplug for the NASCAR races... good luck!

Answer:	I use these for at least a few weeks per pair, they start to break down a bit after that. These are quite large though, they work for me since I have pretty wide ear canals. My wife can't even get them in her ears. I tried these and the Howard Leight MAX1, and much prefer the Leights.
