Answer: You probably did this but check gas cap check valve and spark arrest

Answer: It's certainly possible a little piece of crap got caught in the needle valve. There is no float but rather a diaphragm that controls the needle valve. I would check and make sure you didn't get the tubing from the tank/pulsation line crossed up.
