Answer:	Not certain but I believe it has to do with the spacing of the teeth on the wheel at the end of the bar. I have two 14-inch bars for my chainsaw, one that fits s49 and the other s52. Always better to have a choice you know.

Answer:	Yes.......it will fit all 14-inch saws........the quality is very good. Depending on where you live and how much you use your saw, you might consider buying two replacements. I typically use mine for many different jobs around the yard. If you have the availability of having the original chain sharpened, the cost is usually about $5 or $6. I have three chains so if I am in the middle of a large diameter tree, I can usually finish the job faster by having a quick replacement. I have cut trunks 24 inches in diameter....a sharp chain is essential!

Answer:	If you need a 56 drive link chain, I would assume it will fit. I have a Dewalt 16" bar that takes 56 drive links. It works fine on mine. Make sure you keep an eye on the chain slack when it's new. The links tend to stretch for a few minutes of use. These are awesome chains at a bargain price.
