Answer:	It didn't work when I tried to run it in the main drain, so I put a hole in the straight part of the PVC. But it did work when I tried underneath the kitchen sink but I have to remove the P-trap and start from there.

Answer:	I like the sewer jetter kit and it works effectively for debris dirt and mud. I used it on my French drains and some of the foundation drainage, and it was effective. It is a water pressure washer and I doubt that it would clear tree roots. It might give them a good bath, But I would doubt that it would clear them from the pipe. I would look for something with more aggressive rotating action like roto-router with blades, which you can Ranch. The follow up question is, if roots are penetrating the pipe, which is not unusual, the problem will likely recur. Best of luck.

The AP430SS provides a flow of up to 10 GPM with ¾” NPT inlet/outlet connections. Scale is calcium and magnesium deposits that often form when hard water is heated. Question:	Just received. It appears a lot of water bypasses the filter, can someone confirm this is not the case? Mine is just like customer uploaded photo
Answer:	Not a filter, a water treatment cartridge. Rated at 10gpm by the manufacture, a small amount of the water flow is diverted down into the cartridge through a single hole in the elevated tab, in the center of the tee. The polyphosate is slowly dissolved and a small amount of treated water flows back up and out 3 small holes around the elevated tab. According to the manufacture it only takes 2-3 parts per million to treat for scale. A little bit will do ya.
Question:	Does this help with water spots on glasses and scaling on bathroom fixtures
Answer:	We have a lot of calcium in our well water. The heat from the hot water tank is what causes the minerals to form scale. We placed this on the cold water side of the hot water tank and noticed a big improvement in water quality, especially on shower doors and dish washer. I have changed it twice now. The first time at 3 mos because the info says it can clean up existing scale in pipes and fixtures. The bottom line is if your water is very hard that will affect how much benefit you get from this product. So will you be happy with a 50% improvement in quality? I know I am cleaning faucet screens a lot less. Still have a jug of vinegar around though! Hope this helps.
Question:	GPM seems to low. I have 2 Tankless units, EACH one does 9 GPM
Answer:	we have an electric tank less that is rated at 4.5 GPM. We have very hard water in this part of MA and also have a well. We have been in this house for 30 years and have had problems with pipes rotting away. When we installed the electric tank less we installed this filter also. We used the heater for a few months and than had the plumber perform the maintenance suggested by the tank less mfg. It was clean as a whistle. Our flow rate is not as high as yours but if you had one in line with each heater - i would think it would work fine. Our heater used 120A for 4.5 GPM - if yours is electric it most use a lot of power! For our use I am very satisfied with the filter and given our water quality situation and how clean the heater was - i would highly recommend this filter.KR in MA

Answer:	In my opinion, if this is collecting any particles before getting into Tankless water heater, the particle should fall in vertical direction so filter should be installed in vertical direction. I installed my filter in vertical direction before cold water is getting in to the tankless. In order to get a right answer, it would be the manufacture because they are the one who designs the filter.

Question:	Can this product be hooked up to a beverage/drinking faucet beside the sink
Answer:	I had a counter faucet system with 1/4" tube. So I found Watts Quick Connect couplings PL-3021 that go from 1/4" to 3/8". Cut 2 pieces the 3/8" tubing 4" and inserted into the new filter housing and then inserted the 1/4" existing tubing into the couplers.
Question:	Can you use this with a faucet with a flow rate of 1.8gpm
Answer:	Your question is fundamentally wrong- 3US-PF01 and 3US-AF01 are both filters! But they both will fit 3US-AS01 system if that what you meant in your question.
Question:	Does the product includes the hose and other required items to do self installation
Answer:	No, it will not convert non-potable water into potable (safe to drink) water. This filter actually comes (found on the Performance Data Sheet) with a warning from the manufacturer - "Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts. EPA Establishment number 070595-CT-001". This filter (3US-PS01, 3US-PF01) does filter cysts (based on protozoan Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts). However, bear in mind that these oocysts are way bigger than most bacteria (e.g., E. coli). This filter doesn't filter bacteria.
