Answer:	I would use a different type of glue for that. This is for bonding wood. Try something like weldbond for that application.

Answer:	Dip a toothpick or two, in wood glue and put them in the hole. Let it dry and then break the toothpick off at the edge of the hole. Screw the hinge back on and you’ll be set.

Answer:	Definitely yes! That's why I bought it. In two or three years, the palm trees will probably be too high for it to reach the branches and I'll have to hire someone to trim them, but in the meantime, I'll save probably $200-$300 in costs, and I can still sell this on Craig's List for $50 or so. Answer:	I stored it vertically for the first season with the head on top. It leaked oil down the handle. I then put two bicycle hanging hooks on the ceiling of my garden shed and now hang it horizontally. Harder to get down, but it is never oily, and that's worth the trouble of getting something to stand on to reach it.

Answer:	We used this item for a couple of projects after which the chain was loose. Falling off the bar. The instructions are very unclear and there is no clear way to adjust the position of the bar to tighten the chain. The adjustment knob will not do it as I tightened it as much as I could. After playing around with it I managed to tightened the chain but do not think it will last. This problem is a design flaw with this item.

If you try to cut off thick branches from the bottom, the branch may close in and pinch the saw chain in the cut. If you try to cut off thick branches from the top, without a shallow undercut, the branch may splinter. Do not force pole saw. The motor will overload and can burn out.

Answer:	I would say my battery's charge in 2 to 6 hours depending on how low you run them. a battery will make any where from 20 to 40 cuts depending on what your cutting how hard the wood.

Answer:	Not sure...will have to see how I can dampen mine to replicate this...however, while cutting way high in the tree on hard oak...mine would stop, I would pull it up, then start it and resume cutting, but after these sudden stops I changed batteries...mine tends to cut off when battery life is low...be sure you start with full charge. Otherwise I will have to google this problem for other ideas. I will clean and sharpen the unit with a battery so I can move the chain while spraying with DW40...or any bike chain lube....
Question:	Is the locking mechanism in pole saw mode made of plastic? Is it secure
Answer:	It is very common for a new chain to 'stretch' a bit more than during typical use. However, all chains will loosen up with use. Mine fell off 3 times the first day (30-40 branches, some large), until I got the feel of how tight it should be and it has been great since. Don't forget to oil it too.

Answer:	I would say that the smaller and weaker the branches are, the less efficient this pole saw is. However I have used it to cut and prune back a mugo pine which has pretty flimsy branches which are short, also willow branches

Answer:	Sun Joe SWJ802E motor is rated at 6.5 Amps at 120 volt, thus running requirement is 780 watts (The conversion of Amps to Watts at fixed voltage is governed by the equation Watts = Amps x Volts). 780 watts would be running requirements, the starting requirement would be 20% above running requirement or 936 watts. Any generator capable of supplying 936 watts or above @ 120 volts should be adequate.

Answer:	The saw came in three sections having a total length of of about 120 inches. The center section of 40 inches is removable giving a a minimum length of about 80 inches.
Question:	How much does it weigh
Answer:	There are only two lengths - with all three pieces which makes it 9 foot long, or with just the handle/battery section and the saw head at 6 foot long. I've used it on a few close to the ground branches, but it's not as easy to wield as a regular small chain saw. While you can reach some higher branches, you don't want to be cutting directly above your head.
