--- COULDN’T SPOT THE TARGET OBJECT ---

The accuracy may be affected by the following factors:

a. The depth of the target. In order to uncover the deeply buried metals, you need to turn up the SENS level. However, metals over 9 inches underground may not be detected.

b. The size of the target. Tiny metals, for instance needles, cannot be easily detected. In this case, you can try to turn up the sensitivity or lower the DISC value.

c. The way you search. You may miss a target if you walk too fast. And never swing the search coil as if it were a pendulum.

--- THE METAL DETECTOR KEEPS BEEPING ---

a. On highly mineralized land, the detector may keep beeping even if there is no metal. In this case, you can decrease the sensitivity or increase the DISC value. Meanwhile, please keep the search coil a certain distance away from the land.

b.In the area full of trashy metal, the detector may keep beeping. In this case, you can set DISC to 50 and most nails or small pieces of iron will be eliminated.

c.Metallic digging tools will also affect detection if they are near the search coil. So it's better to put them not too close.

The decalcification cartridge for the SC 3 EasyFix is easily replacement and the indicator light on your SC 3 EasyFix will light up when it is time to change the cartridge and remain lit until you do so. The answer to your question will depend upon the water hardness level in your area. For example, if you have a water hardness level of 5 dH, one cartridge will last you around 75 hours. On the other end of the spectrum, if you have a water hardness level of 20 dH, you will need to replace your cartridge after around 30 hours of use. I hope this helps! Yes, accurate can reach 8 inches, enough for beginners and develop children 's love of nature. Not suggested do some professional use.
