Answer: | I purchased mine from CPO last spring. It advertised having two 4ah batteries, but came with one 4ah, and one 2ah. I contacted them and told them that it did not arrive as advertised, so they sent me a second 4ah battery. I believe this was a temporary thing, because I keep seeing the mixed batteries being shown. User questions & answers
Question: | I live in the Mid-Atlantic region of the country & wondered how the mower would last if stored outside in my shed. How is it affected by rain, snow, cold? Will it start right up next spring |
Answer: | I normally wear a 44 EU (10 US) and I bought them that size. I wish I would have gotten a half size smaller (43 or 42 EU) because they do run a little big. |
Question: | Does it cut well pulling it backwards instead of turning the mower |
Answer: | I wouldn't call them pro shoes, but they are great shoes in general. The rubber is not very hard and not very soft, and the shoe is not down-turned, so it's a great shoe for beginner or mid-level climbers to climb with a variety of styles. |
Question: | extension cord |
Answer: | La Sportiva shoes generally use the euro sizing chart and tend to run big. I would suggest going down a full size from other climbing shoes on the market. I normally wear 8 to 8.5 in other climbing shoes but La Sportiva I wear 7 to 7.5. You can always buy several pairs and return the ones that don't fit. I hope this info helps you with making a buying decision. |
Question: | I charged it 2 straight days and it wouldnt start! Did i get a dud |
Answer: | Hi There, Climbing shoes are designed to fit tight, almost like a second skin. If you are new to climbing, a comfortable fit is most important. I would recommend going a half size down from your street shoe. In all honesty, I would order a couple of different sizes and return the ones that do not fit. You are looking for a very snug fit that does not hurt your foot. Please be aware that these shoes will stretch around a half of a size over time, so remember to size accordingly. I hope this helps! |

User questions & answers
Question: | First time. About half way through my mowing it was if the engine went from low speed to high speed for about 20 seconds or so. Is that normal |
Answer: | Yes, it goes into high gear in thick or high grass which runs the battery down quicker. This is my second season; after sharpening the blade, the mower cuts more grass on a charge. It's easy to unscrew the blade off the mower, and it cost $9 to sharpen it at the local DIY hardware store. Another trick is to pass through twice on tall grass: first at level 5 or 6 and again at the level you want. |
Question: | Does it have a mulching mode? Has anyone used it for mulching |
Answer: | Hello there, Yes, this mower has the mulching feature. Please be advised the mulch plug comes already inserted in the rear slot. |
Question: | will a 56 volt battery work on this mower |
Answer: | Hello there, Only Greenworks batteries, chargers and machines of the same voltage are compatible and interchangeable. |
Question: | What height increments are the 7 heights adjustments on the mower |
Answer: | Hello,The height adjustment ranges from 1 1/4 - 3 1/2". These are the 7 heights, 1st setting is 1 1/4", 2nd is 1 2/3", 3rd is 2", 4th is 2 1/3", 5th is 2 3/4", 6th is 3 1/7 and 7th setting is 3 1/2". Please contact us at [email protected] should you require more detail on this feature. |

User questions & answers
Question: | How long is the cord |
Answer: | As several people have stated, it dosn't come with a cord. You must buy a separate outdoor extension cord long enogh for your use. One person stated he used a 100 ft 10 amp cord. I hope he ment a 10 gage cord. I wouldn't recomend running a 13 amp motor on a cord rated for 10 amps. I use a 100 ft 14 gage cord. 14 gage wire is rated for 15 amps, 12 gage for 20 amps and 10 gage for 30 amps. I find the mower runs on the 14 gage without heating the wire at all. If the wire gets hot, you are using to small of a wire. Go to a smaller gage number to carry more amps. |
Question: | Is this lawn mower self-propelled |
Answer: | No. It's not self propelled. It's very light until the bag fills up. You just need to empty the bag when it feels heavy. It's really for a smaller lawn. I wouldn't use an electric mower on a large lawn. |
Question: | I don't see any warranty information. If there is one, how long is it and what is covered? Thanks |
Answer: | Amazon's ad says 4 years. The bottom motor bearing just blew out on mine 2 months after the 4 year warranty expired so I guess I'm boned. I will probably buy the same mower again though. It has worked great up to yesterday when the motor suddenly just seized up. I borrowed my sister's 18" greenworks mower to finish the job. They both work (worked) great. |
Question: | Amazon is showing a COLEMAN OUTDOOR EXTENSION CABLE 10 AMP that is frequently "bought together" with this mower. Correct that this is not enough amps |
Answer: | A 14 gauge cord should be safe with a 12-amp mower. Some would recommend a 12 gauge cord if you need 100ft. The mower will have a bit more power with the heavier gauge (due to reduced voltage drop in the cord) but the cord will be heavier and more expensive. |

User questions & answers
Question: | Does this updated version resolve some of the the design problems with the Model 25112 - i.e., the inefficient DC motor and the poor deck seal |
Answer: | I keep my percolator plugged in for up to 2 hr so it keeps it just as hot as when it was first perked. However, if you unplug it, it will eventually cool down. I don't know the time frame for that, though. The downside is that by keeping it plugged in after perking, you might forget to unplug it. By using a timer on the plug, that would be eliminated. I am retired so I am at home and I have had no problem remembering to unplug the unit. |
Question: | Is the picture shown the new updated version ? Cause im still noticing the older look in pic by buyers |
Answer: | My 8 cup percolator actually holds about 36 oz water to reach the 8 cup marker. Thus each "cup" is 4.5 oz. With 12 oz mugs, you will only get 3 so you may want to consider their larger "12 cup" percolator. |
Question: | What makes this latest model better? What improvements have you made? (Question for the manufacturer |
Answer: | I can't answer your question about the heating element, but because my husband's coffee of choice only comes in fine ground I HAVE to use a filter. However, instead of using discs, I purchase the unbleached cone filters and just tear a small hole in the bottom and slip it over the the basket stem. After that, I put the basket onto the long stem and fill with coffee. I haven't decided that I LOVE this percolator yet. We were using a vintage percolator from (I'm guessing) the 1950's which was new when I bought it on eBay - cloth covered cord, 6-cup capacity, the coffee basket was wider and therefore easier to fill. However, it was aluminum, which I didn't like one bit so it wasn't a complete disappointment when it died about a year later. I can tell you that I did a LOT of research before choosing the Capresso. I'm certainly not unhappy with it - I just with the basket was wider and I do not care for the spring on the boiling stem. The reviews about the lid being tight are absolutely correct - we just tighten it but do not tighten it all the way. Don't over rotate when you pour - even if you're down to the end of the pot - because the coffee will come out the lid. The pot is designed so that you'll get every delicious drop WITHOUT over rotating. We don't find the cord to be too short but the outlet is right where we want it to be. You definitely can plug in to an outlet 3' away. And finally, it does make a delicious cup of coffee! |
Question: | Why can't I find this version on the Greenworks website |
Answer: | Never had this issue with this percolator. Sounds like a electrical overload in your kitchen wiring. Check with an electrician. My Capresso works fine every morning for past 3 months. |

Question: | What's the point in buy the "Tools only" option? You can't charge the lawn mower because they don't give you a battery or charger |
Answer: | They offer the tools only option for people who already have Greenworks products and who interchange the batteries between tools. I have 5 tools (lawnmower, weed wacker, blower, trimmer, saw) , 3 batteries and 2 chargers so I am always able to be charging 2 while using 1 tool.
