Answer:	They should work both ways

Answer:	I wanted to connect my Yamaha p125 to my ipad and was told to buy that ridiculously expensive Apple Camera Adapter. Instead, I bought an Amazon Basics regular USB to iPad Pro USB adapter for around 10 bucks. Works the same and a whole lot cheaper. Don't believe me? Go to Sweetwater's website and look at the demo video using the Yamaha keyboard with the ipad Pro. You can see the same adapter.
Question:	Will this work with Mac Mojave
Answer:	This is from the M-Audio website FAQ's: Will the Keystation Mini 32 MK3 work with my Windows or Mac computer? Yes! The Keystation Mini 32 MK3 is a class-compliant device, which means that it's plug-and-play and does not require any drivers to be installed. This also means that it will work and is supported on the latest operating systems, including Windows 10 and Mac 10.14. The important take-away, for everyone, is this: "The Keystation Mini 32 MK3 is a class-compliant device".
Question:	Is the 49 key semi weighted as well
Answer:	I owned the Keystation 88 II, which has the semi-weighted feel. So, rather than guess at the answer to your question, I just checked the M-Audio website. Their description says that the Keystation 49 MK3 has a synth action. That type of action, typically, is a lighter spring feel than the semi-weighted feel. I actually liked the feel,of the 88 II. I owned two of them. One lasted four years. The second unit only one and a half years. I take particularly good care of my equipment. And don’t pound on the keys. However, they both failed far too soon, in my opinion. I have switched to the Nektar brand. Only time will tell about their durability. Good luck with your choice.

Answer:	Not weighted, but as a lifelong pianist these keys are much better than the cheap non-weighted keyboards, I'd say semi-weighted for sure. Perhaps the other answer on here wasn't as experienced with technique to know the difference between this and the ones that are completely non-weighted. More control here without a doubt.

Answer:	It's light synth action. I would not consider this semi-weighted, although the keys appear that way. It's very playable.

Answer:	The length of my Nektar GX61 is 38" overall with a total key width of 33"... Each key is 27/32" according to my tape measure. There's about a 1/8" gap between the white keys.

The buttons can also be assigned to MIDI messages for use with any MIDI software that's not supported by Nektar DAW integration. Using shift, each button can be assigned to two MIDI messages for a total of 14 programmable options. The potentiometer is pre-assigned to MIDI volume, but is also freely assignable.

Answer:	Yes, it'll work with FL Studio. It's a controller. Just enable it in your midi settings in FL and open up Kontakt (which is the Native Instruments GUI with all the Native Instrument sounds) inside of FL Studio and play.
Question:	how would you connect this to an AMP
Answer:	This is a keyboard "controller". It does not produce any sounds without external modules. In other words, you need to connect this device, via MIDI, to a device that produces sound, which would then be connected to an amplifier.
Question:	I tried this in a guitar center. the interface felt super slow and unresponsive. is this a problem with the kontrol or is it the computer
Answer:	In my case, it was a question of the interface. Connecting via USB to the computer didn't cut it for *any* keyboard until I connected all audio IO to my UAD Apollo Quad. Years after using a MOTU Timepiece, I experienced terrible latency until I discovered you need an audio interface for samples to trigger in sync. It's true of my Kontrol, Nord, Prophet 6, etc. My only instrument that played in sync without the Apollo Quad was an Elektron Analog Rytm.

Answer:	It does not have the old school 5 pin DIN midi ports but the USB port is USB midi and works the same as the 5 pins. Actually better because you don't need a midi interface and it uses one cable instead of 2. It can also power your midi controller via USB, assuming your midi device supports that. I was skeptical moving from. 5 pin midi to USB midi but now that I have I no longer use the 5 pin cables if possible.

Answer:	Picture #4 above show all the ports there is on this synth. It the right port is there, it "might" work. I have not used any pedal with mine.

Impact LX49+ features 26 programmable real-time controls: 9x 30mm faders, 9x MIDI buttons and 8x potentiometers. Each control is fully programmable to send unique MIDI messages and can be stored in any of the 5 user presets. So you can control up to 5 different devices and switch between them seamlessly, in addition to DAW integration. If you switch "Null" on, any parameter values are stored when you change presets so you avoid parameter jumping.

Used with Nektar DAW integration, the control options increase substantially, providing flexible pre-mapped DAW control giving you the best of both worlds.

PADS FOR BEATS & GROOVES

The 8 pads are great to play. Dynamic and sensitive, they are ideally suited for finger drumming. Assign sounds or MIDI notes to the pads is quick and easy with Impact's unique “Pad Learn“ feature: Activate, just hit a pad to select, and press a key on the keyboard to assign the MIDI note. Done!

You can save your setups in 4 Pad Maps for recall at any time. With Nektar DAW Integration active, the pads are automatically mapped in Reason or Bitwig for instance and provide a true drum machine feeling, including visual feedback using the pads' colors.

TRANSPORT & NAVIGATION

Navigate your projects: The 6 dedicated transport buttons are always within reach and mapped to control Cycle, Rewind, Forward, Stop, Play and Record.

Dedicated Track up/down and Patch up/down buttons are located below the display.

Press "Shift" to get access to alternate functions such as Goto L, Set L, Set R, Undo, Click and Mode (implementation details depend on the DAW).

MIXER CONTROL

Press "Mixer" and the first 8 Impact LX+ faders are assigned to control 8 DAW mixer channels. The alternate Bank up/down function moves assignments to the next or previous group of 8 channels.

Channel mute and solo can be controlled from the buttons under the faders. Pan for the selected group of 8 channels is handled by the 8 pots. Fader 9 adjusts volume for the currently selected mixer channel as well as master volume.

There are even shortcuts to open and close your DAW's mixer windowfrom Impact LX+, so you can make the most out of your screen real estate and instantly see what's going on.

INSTRUMENT CONTROL

In "Instrument" mode, you can control virtual instrumentsdirectly from the hardware. Nektar mapping takes care of assignments automatically. Many DAW devices and plugins are pre-mapped to match the screened blue control labels, so you can start tweaking right away. The knobs are assigned to typical oscillator and filter parameters, and the faders let you tweak amp and filter ADSR envelopes. In many DAWs, the Page button gives access to a second page of knob assignments.

Nektar "Grab" lets you assign parameters to controls instantly: Simply hold "Shift" while moving the instrument parameters you want to control, followed by moving the knob, button or fader you want them assigned to. Done! Some DAWs even support saving grabbed parameters to a Nektar map for future use.

Question:	does this keyboard sometimes not input keys on ableton live lite? The minilab does when too many things are plugged in, its bigger so more power right
Answer:	I sometimes have issues with the ableton recognizing the keyboard. I have had to reboot software and keyboard at times. I also lose capability to control analog lab through dials/faders. I don’t know what I am doing- but eventually I get things working.!
Question:	This says "everything you need" but it doesn't come with power....how do you turn it on
Answer:	There's another option that most people overlook. You can power it with a USB cable that connects to a USB wall charger. Then you can use the MIDI out to control anything that has a MIDI in jack connected by 5-pin DIN MIDI cable. You can get a decent preowned MIDI sound module for as little as $50 on eBay. It may be "old school" but it does work and it is very flexible because you have access to 16 different MIDI channels, meaning you could daisy chain as many a 16 different MIDI modules or keyboards and control all of them separately from this one keyboard.
Question:	Can i play without a computer and plug it straight to an amp for concerts
Answer:	This keyboard only sends MIDI signals. If you have some kind of synthesizer or synth module, you could connect it via MIDI Cable, if you're trying to get away from computers/DAWs.

CONTROLS & BUTTONS
