Answer:	I got because of worry over steep frontage. Deck is very light weight, but sturdy. It works perfect for me where too steep for riding mower. Comes with extra battery and 1 did frontage (260' x 10') easily. Recharges in 4 hrs. I got extra spools of line, but haven't needed to switch as yet.

Good to know replacements are so inexpensive on eBay 🙃 I guess if you’ve never used a mower before you might wonder where the grass goes. I’ve never used a bag, never dethatched, my zoysia is more than 35 years old and very healthy. I consider the grass clippings a gift from God. As far as where does the cut grass go, it stays pretty much right there. This is a very small mower if you use it that way. If the green stuff is very tall, we just had more than 10 days of rain, then I cut little narrow swathes. It is a weed eater with a deck. I had breast cancer 4 years ago. The treatment almost did me in. Up until then I did my own yard work. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars hiring idiots to scalp my zoysia and then take out my roses, Japanese maples, fig trees, lilies and plants large enough to see with weeders. I bought this little guy for me to use as it’s small enough for me use to mow my uneven lawn and it’s hard to scalp s rise budh if the weeder stays in the deck. I love this little guy.

Answer:	I have had no problems with the 18” version. Makita has improved on the lawnmower design since the 17” version. The wheels and axles are still a bit flimsy, but if your not to hard on them they work just fine. This is not the toughest mower design out there, but it is so convenient to have zero maintenance. I have given away all of my gas and corded yard tools and use Makita only now. I am definitely sold n the Makita line of tools.

Answer:	No. It fairly light. About 40 lbs. I would guess the shipping weight was close to 92 lbs.

Answer:	The variables can't be set aside. I have mowed the whole lawn twice in an attempt to run the batteries out, and they held up longer than I did, more than an hour. That's at low speed. Yesterday I hayed the yard after almost three weeks of rain and no mowing. The vegetation was pretty much eight inches high or more everywhere, and the mower ran at top speed the whole time. It ran for about forty minutes, and then (for the first time ever) stopped because the batteries were dead. I had already bagged about eighty gallons of fairly most grass. I was able to mow almost the same amount of area that I get with 20% charge left, all but a strip that was about six square feet. It took two minutes to grab a new set of batteries off the charger (the kit comes with four) and finish the job.

Answer:	I have the 19 in with two batteries. It came with a 40v 4ah and 2ah battery. The 40v 2ah has lasted at least 40 to 45 min and its the small battery. I have never depleted its power doing my yard and back alley. We have bermuda grass and my yard in front is about 80 x 40 my back yard is about 30 x 60 then i have a strip in the back alley. I love this lawn mower so far. No fuss no muss and plenty of power for my yard. The power increases when it goes thru thick grass then runs slower thru lighter grass on its own. Its is much quieter than my gas mower and lighter as well even though the deck is metal. From my perspective my brushless mower is a winner.

Answer:	I personally hosed and dried undercarriage. Put mine in closed shed. The battery I keep in the house. I will plug it in each month to keep the charge up. Don't think they should go without charge for extended period of time.
Question:	What is the life of the battery 2 or 3 years roughly
Answer:	Best practice is to keep batteries between 10% - 90% charged. 20 -80% range is even better.. the worst way to keep these batteries is always fully charged. It is hard on the cells inside the battery..A battery that is only ever charged to 80% will last on average, about 4 times longer than the same battery that was always kept at 100%..So the practical answer is to keep the battery fully charged during the season (or kept at 75-80% and topped up before use) AND ALWAYS store the battery at around 50% charge for the off season.If these guidelines were followed, I wouldn't be surprised to see the battery last 7-10 years.If you keep the battery fully charged even during the off season, I think you will see noticable depreciation after 2-3 years.I keep my batteries at 50% during the off season, the date code on my battery is 2013. it is 2017 now. I 'm sure it has decreased somewhat in capacity, but I havent noticed...Other things that decrease battery life rapidly:- Bogging down the mower/battery. ( cutting more often is better than cutting less often with thicker grass)- Heat ( keep batteries out of the sun, away from heaters etc..)
Question:	How is does this differ from iON16LM-CT model
Answer:	The "CT" refers to CORE TOOL. These initials are VERY important when making a purchase! Core Tool means "Just the basic lawnmower" (the basic, or core tool). You do not get the battery or charger or anything else included in the bundled package. My advice is to never pay almost as much as the complete kit for only the basic machine. Answer:	You can mow without the bag or mulch plug installed, it will just do a poor version of mulching and you will have clumps of grass dropping out of the area where the mulch plug should be.

Answer:	I purchased mine from CPO last spring. It advertised having two 4ah batteries, but came with one 4ah, and one 2ah. I contacted them and told them that it did not arrive as advertised, so they sent me a second 4ah battery. I believe this was a temporary thing, because I keep seeing the mixed batteries being shown. If you purchase one that is supposed to come with two 4ah batteries, then make certain they supply as advertised.

Answer:	My fully charged 2.0Ah battery lasted about 45 minutes, enough to mow my 1/4 acre, then power the leaf blower to clean the mower (battery power meter showed 0/3 lights, though). I don't have the string trimmer yet, but it should have enough power for it as well. Regardless, I'm planning to buy a 4.0Ah battery--whenever it's finally available--to use as the primary battery, and the 2.0Ah as backup. 2x 2.0Ah batteries would be sufficient as well, but I figure the extra run time will come in handy for the future snow blower.

At this time I own and use two full size irons regularly as well as a steam press, two mini's and a travel iron. This is by far my favorite. It keeps good heat and works well. It heats up quickly and gets wrinkles out. Sets creases beautifully. The reason I have so many irons is' I am a seamstress and press everything I sew and wear. If I only could keep one iron it would be this one. Happy ironing this product is a great investment.

It's easy to unscrew the blade off the mower, and it cost $9 to sharpen it at the local DIY hardware store. Another trick is to pass through twice on tall grass: first at level 5 or 6 and again at the level you want.
