Answer:	If it’s a large space, it should be fine. I just wouldn’t have it blowing near the paint

Answer:	No thermostat. I use a separate room thermometer. Heater has two dials to adjust as needed with lines or symbols. It does work to take the chill off.

Question:	I don't see a remote, how do you turn the heater on and off? Does it have to have a thermostat, and if so 27V or 120V thermostat
Answer:	This is a 240V Direct Wire heater. I have installed mine on a 30 amp double pole switch which leviton sells. It is wired directly into my panel with armored 12 guage wire with a 20 amp double pole breaker. We turn it on when we are on the patio, we turn it off when we are done. So, there is no remote. There may be heater control units that can handle the 12 amp 240V current needed to run this heater but you would need to do research.
Question:	does it have to have a variable controller? or can I just connect it through an on/off switch and always run it with a full 240V
Answer:	I put it on a timer. Variable controller was more expensive.
Question:	Is the light the unit puts off red or white
Answer:	Red
Question:	will this unit function in the rain
Answer:	Try and keep it out of direct rain but yes it will as long as the element is dry.

Answer:	I don’t believe so. We just purchased two of these. We haven’t tested them for the heat they give off yet either, however they were fairly easy to put together.
