Answer:	I keep the top of our unit about 24" below a glass porch covering, protected from the elements and not requiring the cover. Moisture has not been a problem. Heating elements are lasting about a year with periodic, not daily, use.

Answer:	We purchased our November 2012 and used it year 1 w/no issues, year 2 the unit failed several times and unplugging and plugging it back in worked, however, we are now on year 3 and the unit works for 3 minutes at a time and auto shuts off and won't light until cooled and unplugged and plugged back in. Today sent a note to the manufacture for assistance/replacements parts.

Answer:	The cover is fine in the wind. You do need to secure the heater with the cover to something that will prevent it from falling over. I use my fence poll and a single string. Work well for me.

The fabric is thin enough and the edges of the stainless steel is sharp enough that the fabric was slashed in several places.

Answer:	Couldn't see anything in the specs so I did an experiment for you. I use mine as the only source of heat in a large enclosed metal building. Its mounted height is 7'6". It sits 3 feet from the wood frame of a 12' barn style door with no problem. I tossed a scrap of white cardboard on top of the umbrella this morning. After 6 hours, running on highest setting, the cardboard was discolored brown but never ignited. The top of the umbrella measures 280F with my laser thermometer. Hope this helps?

Answer:	No, it's another type of 220V plug. You can either change the plug or the receptacle. Frankly I wouldn't bother as you will be lucky to get a week with this heater before the blower motor fails.

Question:	can it be used inside a canopy tent
Answer:	Ask the company. I would not recommend it unless the tent is very well ventilated and there is sufficient height above the top of the heater.
Question:	Used 2 heaters for 2 hrs for 1st time. Why is there soot around the base? will this stop
Answer:	Soot was because it was new, shouldn't happen again
Question:	Is the ignitor supposed to click
Answer:	Yes, the igniter clicks when you depress the ignition button.
Question:	Can a 30lb tank fit in the base
Answer:	I would not try it. A 20 lb tank is pretty snug and the access door is sized just for that size. A 30 lb tank might be able to be squeezed in but it is not clear how you would attached the hose and use the control valve. Others may have a more creative solution.
