Answer:	Check the seller before you purchase, it will show if they are in China. You should also check the estimated delivery date of the shipment before purchase. If it's multiple weeks away it is likely shipping from China.

Answer:	Yes I have the same issue. You have to it ignite then move it to regular(hi-lo) hopefully it will stay lit. I have to do it several times for I can never make it work

Answer:	Glass does not work in the smaller size pieces. Tried it and it smothered the gas and pushed the gas down and under the burner, which made the flame come out inside the table top. Went back to lava rock and it worked OK except that I had to buy a bag from home depot because Mfg ships such a small amount. Have not tried the larger size glass cuts (round style) but that may work better. Just need to have something that lets the gas travel up and around whatever you use.

What is the thread size on the gas inlet and outlet

Answer:

I know! The instructions are not very clear but if you move it to approximately 9:00 position (marked Hi) press in and hit the ignition, it will start. Hold the control knob in for a while and you will see it start to glow... it may "pop n' spit" a bit but it will calm down shortly. If a windy day keep the knob depressed a bit longer, release; and don't leave it until it a couple minutes. Make sure it is really going before you trust it. If you are like me (bald)... wear a hat, it really throws out the heat when you are close.

Answer:	Update - Currently there is no device on Home kit echo system that is one way radio. The BOND communicate with ceiling fan and fireplaces as a one way radio controller. Apple does not seem to allow one radio on their system.

This Bond Smart Home Automation has lots of potential, but presently it is still in a very primitive stage (just bought one 4/2018) it can only learn the remote of few popular ceiling fan company like Hunter at this time (I have a Reiker fans, and it cannot learn the remote and customer service cannot help). I am still keeping the Bond because it control my Hunter fans very well from Alexa. I wouldn't consider this Bond for anything else but popular ceiling fans only.

Answer:	Mine did. It seems like a returned/refurbished unit. I could easily see them sending one without a remote. The stand was the big selling point. If I needed a mountable unit, I probably would have gotten a different one, or from a different seller (price/shipping time).

Answer:	Not difficult, but you won't feel confident while doing it. I think mine was a returned/refurbished unit, maybe it helped to have some screws already in place. Screwed 2 brackets together, shorter loose screws and fastened with wingnuts. Screwed brackets onto heater. Took out existing screws and rescrewed them in. Used long screws and capnuts to attach bracket (with heater) to stand. Isn't straight. Isn't the sturdiest. Don't feel good. Decorative bracket doesn't fit and it in the garage pile of assorted things I won't ever use.
