Question:	Will this work on a minivan with sliding doors (no roof rack)? Thanks
Answer:	I have a 2015 jeep JKU with heated seats. You have to remove a bracket in the bottom of the holding the electrical wires for the seat. Then you can just install the lock box. 2015 and 2016 both jeep have the same interior.
Question:	Will this work with no roof rails
Answer:	Make sure you have the right size socket before you do this btw. Get a breaker bar, torque wrench, or pipe extension on your regular socket drive. If they still don't budge, use some WD40 on the bolt and let it sit for a few, this helps break the bond. You'll get it... if you don't use the right size socket, you run the risk of stripping the nut (not good). Don't use a monkey wrench or deep socket, use a regular socket. If you strip it, well, you'll need to get a stripped bolt remover socket from Sears (or online) and replace the bolt. Keep at it...
Question:	I wonder if it is 100% waterproof
Answer:	I installed in a 2012 4 door, it's the same change, the bracket that holds the underseat wiring cluster has to be removed and that cluster zip tied away from the drawer. It was no big deal

Question:	Can this cargo bag be used on a car with a roof rack or is it just for SUV’s
Answer:	We purchased this product because we were traveling in our truck, but I believe this would work with no problem on top of a car with a roof rack. The bag comes with a "no slip" mat, which worked really well in the bed of the truck. On the way home, we hit a rainstorm and everything inside was dry as a bone. I highly recommend this cargo bag. Question:	What is the weight capacity of this? Couldnt find it in the description
Answer:	We are currently using this on our '03 Tahoe on a trip to Oregon. The provided straps have kept everything very secure and we didn't need any additional straps. Even while driving through some high wind areas and a coastal rainstorm, everything was secure and dry.
Question:	Can this be secured with tie-down straps over the top and through the doors if no roof rack is available
Answer:	Unfortunately, it cannot be used without any rails. Rails are needed to strap and secure the bag down flat on your rooftop.

Question:	Will the "without a rack" straps work on a minivan with sliding doors
Answer:	I have side rails only (front to back) without cross bars and it worked perfectly without the cross bars.Just make sure you attach the straps to the posts that connect the side rails to the car so the straps and bag don't slide. It didn't budge an inch on my Pilot all the way from Ohio to Florida and back.
Question:	What is the diff between the roofbag Explorer & the roofbag cross country ,both are 15cu.ft. w/rack
Answer:	I have a 2006 Hyundai Elantra and while the bag’s size would fit atop the car you would have to purchase some sort of bracket or hook to secure it to the vehicle.
Question:	Do you need to have cross bars or will this bag fasten securely with just front to back rails
Answer:	I bought this for my son's 1999 Honda Accord when he moved to live with me for a while. His car needed the rooftop cargo tie down hook and ratchet straps to secure it to the roof of the car. If you have the rails on top fo the Flex this will work perfectly, if you don't you will need rooftop cargo tie down hook and ratchet straps. The straps provided were too long with tie downs and very hard to get off if you need to remove the cargo bag at over nite stops

Answer:	It fit across our mazda 5 with extra length although after the kids closed the door on the strap multiple times (during our 500 mile trip) it did break we bought some tie downs at the store and they held up a lot better to the wear and tear

Answer:	Yes. It will work with or without a roof rack. My suv doesn't have a roof rack. The luggage carrier has two long straps that can either be fastened to a roof rack or run thru car and tightened with buckle. Doors close tight on straps with no problem. Drove over two thousand miles thru rain, snow, and HEAVY wind. Stayed secure and inside of luggage carrier stayed dry.

Answer:	It would be difficult to do by yourself unless you can prop up the arms where they line up to the seat and back rest so you can screw them together

Answer:	I am not sure. A word of warning. Metal rusted very quickly from rain. I would spray it where metal is attached. Bench only lasted a few years and wood rotted. Covering or bringing in during winter would help.

Answer:	I have used this product by laying it in the bed of my pickup truck. I do lay it on 2 x 4s. Works great and a lot cheaper than a tonto cover.

Answer:	My Sorrento did not have cross bars. I used generic add on cross bars and fastened straps front and back. Took 3500 mile round trip with no problems. Would recommend at least front cross bar to prevent bag from possibly sliding back

Answer:	I was able to rig it up using just the crossbars on my 2018 CR-V (no rails). First, this is a big bag, so it might hang over the rear crossbar. I was able to secure the rear by attaching it to the trunk, but it was hacky and didn't leave me feeling confident. The instructions that came with this do not explain how to do this with cross bars only, and there are 8 straps. Despite the fact that I hacked it together, I pulled all of the straps tight, and connected all of them to the cross bars / trunk. I basically forgot I even had this bag on the roof - I was on the highway doing 65 MPH on a very windy day, and it worked like a charm. I also used a roof mat to protect the roof, but I do not know if that did anything to help. I think I might get a basket to connect this for next time, but it did work well without it.

Answer:	We place it on our vehicle roof first, and then put things in, zipped it up, and secure the straps.

Answer:	Crossbars are not necessary. There are plenty of straps to secure it to the side rails. But, I advise against this product. I returned mine after first use. It’s not waterproof and one of the attached straps ripped off easily. I recommend you look at the Amazon Basics equivalent product.
Question:	Where can I find directions for installation (did not come with any step by step directons
Answer:	I do not believe it came with them. However it’s a pretty easy set up. Place on roof between roof racks and place buckled under rails. Once full and zipped shut then clip buckles that went around the rails to the clips above. Use the tied down straps to cinch the load down by threading them through the racks from one side to the other. Cinch and buckle. Note you need to tuck the extra strap under or tie it or it annoyingly flaps in the wind being noisy.
