Question:	How hot does it get? Is it safe to put on wood deck
Answer:	Hello, Thank you for your question in regards to our Series 401 Fire Table. As per the safety CSA regulations that we must adhere to, we cannot advise the use of the Outland Living Fire Tables on a wood deck. The minimum clearances for our products state the use of this unit must be on a non-combustible surface. We recommend looking into the composition of your deck prior to use of our Fire Tables. Question:	How much heat does the product actually put off? Does it give off some warmth
Answer:	We have it on our back patio with no overhead protection, so not as much as a traditional wood fire pit but it's not apples to apples though. The low height, openness and flame size of the traditional fire pit radiates the heat further. The table height plays a factor as most of the heat is about torso height (modern style outdoor furniture so it's lower than most) but if you get close enough, you will certainly feel it. Owned this table for about a week and used a few times since. We have the glass wind guard and living in NC, haven't had the need to "feel the heat" yet. With the wind guard on the table, it will shield your drinks from the heat for the most part. The ambience from the fire reflecting off the glass and glass stones is relaxing. Overall, we are very pleased and looking forward for the cooler weather. Well worth the money. This company's Customer Service is great too. Part damaged from UPS handling and sent part the next day. No resistance.
Question:	Has anyone else had issues with the Ignitor on this fire pit? Mine does not work, directly out of the box
Answer:	Had the same problem. Worked for the first month no issues. Then the ignitor wouldn't flame up even with the spark. 1st changed the gas because mine was low. 2nd moved the rocks back. Unscrewed the 2 short screws, then took a wire brush to the square piece and spark piece with some WD-40. Just a little as it is flammable 1 small spray, then wiped away any excess. I was hopeless but then it started right up. Perhaps its the rock residue that overtime creates a film that doesn't allow it to ignite. Good luck

Question:	Can I buy an extra fire mesh to double up the strength and prevent holes
Answer:	Yes, you can buy an extra fire mesh (HERE https://firesideoutdoor.com/collections/24-pop-up-fire-pit-replacement-parts), but you shouldn't need to double up. Their fire mesh is rated to hold up to 125 lbs. So, as long as you stick to a small to medium sized logs (as shown in the pictures) you should be just fine. My friends and I were highly impressed with the Pop-Up Pit and I think you will be too.
Question:	Max temperature rating of this
Answer:	We have measured temperatures over2000F on the Fire mesh. The Temperature Gun we use tops out at 2024F. We have tested in several conditions including low and high elevation, low and high humidity and several types of hard and soft woods. Our measured fires in the Pop-Up Pit generally burn hotter in lower elevations with lower humidity. Oak and Ironwood have been the two highest temperature fuel. Answer:	This uses a very small battery for ignition. The life of it is usually not an issue.

Answer:	I had a scenario where this heater made a serious billowing smoke show. Kicked the smoke detectors off immediately. Only happened 2- 3 times in a 2 ish year period. It happened with this propane heater too. Don't let this scare you though. Can happen with any infrared heater. It only happened several times over a period of about 2 years. So it probably only happened 1 out of a thousand times where the pilot light was on, but for some reason when it went to light up the burner bricks it malfunctioned and billowed out smoke like you wouldn't believe. Made it hard to get to the heater to turn it off. ALWAYS worked after simply turning it off, and ligting it up again. Maybe another reason why you must have working smoke detectors. Doesn't keep me from buying another one! Overcome your fears. Doesn't mean you won't first feel afraid if smoke suddenly starts pouring out of the kitchen. Lol. NEVER let your fears control you. Everything breaks it's just a matter of time. Keep safety # 1.
Question:	Lp gas converter 3/8 to
Answer:	There is no real thermostat in Mr. Heater. It is more of a reostat the controls the time the 5 panels are on and off. At the number 1 setting the panels are on a short time and off a longer time. As you go from 1 up the panels stay on longer and the off time gets shorter. I have not been able to run on the 5 setting as the CO2 sensor turns the heater off after two cycles of setting 2. My external carbon dioxide sensor also goes off after 15 minutes of operation and on setting 2 and after the Mr Heater CO2 sensor turns off the propane. I would not recommend this heater to anyone.

Answer:	As far as I know, a 20# and 30# tanks atr the same. Assume a 40# is the same standard fitting

Answer:	Wow!!! Great question??? I would probably say..... Yeah. You would have to keep the 20# tank up side down and connect the adapter to the end of the hose and all (Safety Safety Safety) but I am sure it could work. Possible unintentional consequences... more propane loss every time you disconnect and re-connect (expelling propane from the entire hose length vs just from adapter at 20# tank connection) Would deffinately make sure area you are doing this in would be well ventilated... Of course all the safety measures.... but.... I would think it would work. (I am in no way stating that this is something that can be or could be done and my opinion is only that, an opinion!) Hope this helps. I am going to fabricate me a stand for a 20# tank and give this idea a go.

This fire pit is constructed of steel which is susceptible to rust with exposure to outdoor conditions and fire. The unique design of this fire pit can generate heat in the burn chamber that can exceed 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. While we paint our fire pits with high temperature heat resistant paint, there are no commercially available paints suitable to meet these extremes. With use and time, these fire pits will show signs of rust, this will not impact the performance of the fire pit. Question:	We have trouble with excessive smoke after adding additional pellets. We only add a handful at a time. Why is there so much smoke after initial fire
Answer:	Hello. An extensive amount of smoke is typically due to the fire not getting enough oxygen and it being smothered. When first starting your fire, be sure to add 2 inches of pellets or small wood. Ignite the fire with kindling or an accelerant. To add more pellets, add handfuls in by sprinkling them around. Dumping them all in one spot could smother the fire and cause smoke. Adding an accelerant can also help to ignite the new pellets added.

Answer:	I have not heard of this. My son uses this weekly. He burns mostly wood but also has used charcoal without any issues.

Answer:	I don’t have it handy to measure but guessing 18-20 inches at the deepest section.
Question:	Do you only have to use wood
Answer:	If you want less mess, wax and sawdust logs -- Duraflame logs, for example -- work well. Just don't barbecue anything if you use them.
