Question:	Will these work on fountain requiring 5/8 tubing
Answer:	Thank you for your question S. Do you mean with a pump that requires 5/8" ID? This kit comes with adapters for the diverter, allowing you to attach a spitter or other item as well, that are 1/2", 2/4" and 1" ID. The pump adapters will fit our WGP pond pumps. There are 3 different threaded sizes for these. Those are the same in size, ID. We do not have any that are 5/8", unfortunately.

Answer:	Hi Martin, Not sure which size adapters come with it, but you can always buy another adapter to go from one of the sizes you have to the 1" tubing (if the 1" adapter is not already included).

Answer:	Absolutely terrific question, and yes, you can Lawrence! The diverter is the piece that attaches to the adapter on the top of the pump. It has two ports, one on each side. One port is actually a flow control knob. The other one is a port that allows you to attach tubing to the diverter so you can operate a water fall, spitter, etc. Your waterfall needs a good amount of flow rate though so it would take a large pump to operate both. Count on needing at least 100 gph per inch of waterfall weir. Also, add in the head the pump has to pump against to determine if your pump can handle both. The pump can only be placed no more than 18" below the surface for the fountain's height to fit properly as well. Hope this info helps!

Answer:	Our pond is maybe 60 gallons and it cleans it well. Never any issues with it besides the filter box floating which is solved with a rock on it. I would imagine 200 is at its upper range. Be sure to wash out the filters at least once a month to keep pump running well.

Answer:	I have a very large planter that has a pump with a fountain and that works great but it does not have a filter. I use the pump that is the next size down for that and it is quite sufficient. What is the diameter of the barrel? I don't have exact dimensions of the filter box, (12" X 14ish as an off-the-top-of-my-head guess???)" but I think it would fit the typical whiskey barrel and if all else fails you could put the pump upon the filter box.This pump might be a step up in power than what you need. My pond is a bit over 100 gallons and this pump is more than enough. It worked all through the northern NY winter and my dime store goldfish, now 3 years old, are thriving! I'm still very happy with this purchase, I recommend this product and I hope this helps.

Answer:	No. It's simply a matter of not connecting any of the "fountain" spray posts and running the hose directly to the rock or waterfall location.

Answer:	Birds did drink from fountain but have no way of knowing if it harmed them. Does say not to use with plants and may be toxic to fish. Was getting lots of green algae. Started using PHYSAN 20. Just a few drops each week. Water is so clear and haven't had any algae. Water will foam up when more water is added but doesn't last. Always have a block in the fountain as a back up
Question:	Do you have to clean out the algae before using this product
Answer:	Thank you for your question, Donna! We do recommend cleaning it out, if possible, as this product is more of a preventative product. It doesn't work as well at killing algae that is present as it does at preventing it from occurring. Customers rave about this product when put in prior to algae growth. So if you clean out your fountain first, then refill it and drop this in, you should not have algae the rest of the season.

Answer:	no, not really it is intended to be an in-pond pump not an external pump, so the pump sits in the water submerged.

Answer:	Hello. We have been running it 24 hours. and our BR window is about 20 yards away. We do not notice the pump noise.

Answer:	I am rather certain it is 1". I am assuming you are referring to the thread size. Again I believe with good comfidence it is 1: NPT. Although an assortment of barbed nipples comes with the pump. I used 1" corrugated hose to service my old fashioned cast iron hand pump at the top of my spillway barrel. The pump supplies so much water that I had to dial it down to the minimum setting!
Question:	what is approximate maximum depth for outlet? Thanks
Answer:	I'm not sure that I fully understand you question and so to answer I'll tell you what I've done. The pump itself is approximately 9.5" high. The top part being the outlet pipe. I've set the pump on the bottom of the pond which is 22" deep. I have attached to the outlet pipe a hose that leads the water up to my waterfall which stands about 5' above the outlet pipe. My pond holds approximately 750 gals and the pressure from the pump is more than adequate. Hope that helps.

You need a pump between 200 and 2000 gph to operate it. This filter is a pre-filter that helps prevent clogging of the pump in any pond or can be used to completely filter a small pond up to 500 gallons in size.

Answer:	I use it in my goldfish pond. And my box turtles have access to it. No harm has come to either animal as long as the water is aerated. This product removes the oxygen from the water.

Answer:	No. That's why I like it. It gets smaller over time and takes about 3 - 4 weeks to disappear.

Answer:	I think you mean the 25905, Decorative ReptoFilter. The pump that comes with that filter usually lasts many years with regular removal and cleaning of the impeller.
