Answer:	There's only 1 knob on the bottom of the guitar and there isn't another place to attach a strap, so no. I could not attach a strap to this guitar, unfortunately.

Answer:	I think so. I bought it for my 3 year old nephew and he LOVED it (had no idea what he was actually doing though). However, the one I got broke within 3 days sooo the quality is iffy. An older kid might be gentler and it might hold up better.

For the money this is a very good guitar. Even the tremolo is not bad. If you are able to spend another $50.00 you can get a locking tremolo that will help hold the guitars tune. You can also spend $10.00 and buy a good Snark tuner, which can stay attached to the head of the guitar. With the Snark you can retune your guitar in less than a minute.
