Answer:	I bought 3. They all work great. At first I thought I had 2 intermittent ones. Put unit 1 outside, no problems. Wanted to put the next one on the screen porch in my pet's bowl. Thought it was full sun. Units 2 and 3 were both intermittent in that spot. Moved them completely outside (no insect screen) and they both work like unit 1. Had to change the spray head on the first unit as it was so powerful it was sending the water up about 2 feet, and the wind was spilling the water out of the bowl. Will be buying more .

Answer:	My husband took off the nozzler and just left nothing. That is the "bubbler". We are high wind here so that works for us. Just do not use any of the nozzles.

Answer:	About 6 and 1/2 inches in diameter. Be sure that your bowl is at least 17 inches wide, or you may find that the fountain spits all of the water so high that it falls out of the fountain after a little while. I had to upgrade my bowl to a wider model for this reason.

Answer:	No, but it does work when the sun is shining on it. It starts working better after a few days in the sun and some days it kept on working when it was cloudy! make sure it has enough water. Answer:	Dear customer, Water Pump can work day and night as long as it connected to a power source; Solar Power only works when the panel exposed to the sunlight unless you connected to a back up battery. However. A back up battery is not cost efficient. It seems you have mis-understand the solar products are supposed work during the sunlight.

Answer:	The pump I bought pumps AIR from above ground, into the water. It is a pond aerator. The advantage it provides over a water fountain is that since it doesn't suck pond water into its mechanism, it will never clog up like a water fountain might. It also takes less power to push air into water than to push water up into the air. This will last longer. But it isn't designed to be pretty... and it isn't designed to move water from a low end of a pond to a higher end of the pond. Its priority is to oxygenate the water... which helps reduce algae.

2. Make sure that you submerge the solar pump in water before you expose it to sunlight because it turns on IMMEDIATELY with CONSTANT, DIRECT sunlight.

3. Sensitive to light, shadows, clouds. The more sunshine the more power it gives off. On a very cloudy day, there may be little to no water coming out, because this has no battery or form of external power.

Answer:	We have a pond/waterfall that's about 24-28 inches wide and about 8 inches deep. The water trickles out. We use it for our bees to drink from so that works fine for us.

Answer:	No. There is no battery to store a charge from the solar panel. Only works with sunlight exposure.

Answer:	You probably could, which is nice that is has a separate solar panel. In fact, you could even put it in an animal drinking bowl to keep things moving and keep it cleaner. The little sponge filter seems to pick up pretty small things like seeds, which is nice. I noticed that they actually do sell some pump basins that have filter material around it for pond pumps, so you could even get one of those, or, even make your own with one of those dishwasher cubes you can buy to put small things in so they don't fly all over the dishwasher, and then put screen material around it, or, even easier, put the whole thing inside one of the pool cleaning wands you can buy almost anywhere, that would be used to manually skim the pool water for debris. The only thing is make sure the water is deep enough and the pump doesn't get starved for water, or it will likely burn out.
Question:	some small bird bath pumps come with mesh that goes over the pump to prevent droppings. Do you have these
Answer:	The pump sits inside the water fountain with suction cups to hold it in place and a sponge filter to prevent debris from getting into the pump mechanism. Sadly our local rabbits like the smell of the insulation over the wire which runs from the solar panel to the pump. They severed it within 1 week. I suggest covering the wire with duct tape and burying it to keep it away from the c itters. Hyundai had the same problem with their engine wiring a few years back. Squirrels thought it was food!
Question:	What are the dimensions of the pump itself
Answer:	The pump itself is quite small. I'm not really sure of the dimensions but its about 2 inches by 1 inch. I hooked it up to change an electric fountain to a solar and it works fine. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It will not run if it's dark. The battery backup allows it to run on a cloudy day. That's if it is fully charged. I will say this is probably one of the most powerful solar fountains they make. I really like it.

Question:	Not pumping much water
Answer:	Requires full sun. My pump separates from the base and the shaft from the pump so I have to constantly push them all back together. Once I do, depending on the spray-head selected, shoots up as much as 24-inches I'd say in direct sunlight. This is my 2nd season of use and I love mine, as do my birds.

Answer:	Yes but if fountain or whatever you are putting it in is not big if shoots the water out very quickly. I have to keep filling my fountain with water.
