Second, they are meant for regular non-salinized water, but that does not mean it cannot work. It means we do not market them that way, and it is a VERY GOOD idea to do a 3-4 month cleaning on the pump to get the salt buildup out of the impeller housing and the pump. The cleaning takes 24 hours of sitting in a CLR (calcium, lime, rust) solution and water once you have pulled the impeller assembly apart. Pulling the impeller assembly apart takes all of 5 minutes. The video I am leaving a link shows it done in 4 minutes flat. Easy as pie. Answer:	First, I would not be happy with a pond that is only about 8 inches deep. The sun will pernitrate well and you will have very warm water and a lot of algae. As far as how many diffusers to use, it will depend on the rating of the diffuser. We sell many diffusers that could easily handle the entire flow from this pump. Answer:	Hi Trish, this is a simple little pump with a cord and a plug that goes into a normal 115v household outlet in the USA.
Question:	I purchased the pump last year. How do i exercise the warranty as it stopped working
Answer:	My experience is that they do not last long, try making a claim on the C card you purchased it with or contact the seller.

Answer:	The dimensions are in the product information at the bottom of the page. They are: 7.8 x 5.8 x 5 inches
Question:	Can we connect a 1/2 fip connection to the little giant pe-2f-pw pump
Answer:	The end is plastic threaded, and we used a 1/2" id vinyl tubing to slide over it and hose clamp on it. You probably could with an adapter.

Question:	What kind of replacement pad does this take
Answer:	The main pad and secondary pad are cylindrical and custom fit. Not sure where you would get replacements.
Question:	How do I buy replacement parts
Answer:	My pump quit, impeller stripped and free wheels. I contacted seller and it was under warranty (180 days). Be careful it cost half the price of product to ship back.
