Answer:	no, not really it is intended to be an in-pond pump not an external pump, so the pump sits in the water submerged.

Answer:	Hello. We have been running it 24 hours. and our BR window is about 20 yards away. We do not notice the pump noise.

Answer:	I am rather certain it is 1". I am assuming you are referring to the thread size. Again I believe with good comfidence it is 1: NPT. Although an assortment of barbed nipples comes with the pump. I used 1" corrugated hose to service my old fashioned cast iron hand pump at the top of my spillway barrel. The pump supplies so much water that I had to dial it down to the minimum setting!

Answer:	I'm not sure that I fully understand you question and so to answer I'll tell you what I've done. The pump itself is approximately 9.5" high. The top part being the outlet pipe. I've set the pump on the bottom of the pond which is 22" deep. I have attached to the outlet pipe a hose that leads the water up to my waterfall which stands about 5' above the outlet pipe. My pond holds approximately 750 gals and the pressure from the pump is more than adequate. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I don't think it would provide sufficient circulation for 10 gallons of water. Also, the intake gets plugged from dirt/debris and this is in a fairly clean bird bath - so I don't think it would handle the debris and waste from a fish pond.

Question:	Does anyone know of a compatible cable that I can buy? I would like something even longer
Answer:	I had to make an extension cable so the solar panel could go up on the roof. I use my own connectors, RC power connectors.

Answer:	I would think so. Mine is mounted sideways in a basin underneath a concrete ball that pours water. It works well in bright sun. It might make small waves.

Answer:	Mine was pulsing right from the start. Looking at the impeller on the pump it seemed to turn fine, figured it was the solar panel. Connected two AA batteries to the pump connection and pump started working. So it’s a bad solar panel.

Answer:	Has anyone been able to reach to seller? The solar pump on mine just died after 7 weeks. Voltage from the solar panel is 12VDC on one side of the pins and 28 VDC on other. That leads me to say the pump failed. And no we never ran it dry and we always had clean water in the 5 gallon bucket.

Answer:	Auto shutoff for what purpose? Two possibilities would be: A timer would switch it ff and on at prearranged times. For a malfunction due to no water going through, you will ideally want to power it through a ground fault interrupt circuit so in the event the water source accidentally runs dry the pump will not burn out.
Question:	What is the thread size that the outlet nozzles screw into? I want to screw a threaded pvc fitting into the pump and need the female thread size
Answer:	It is a 1/2" thread, not 3/4".

Answer:	I have not seen one. The smaller the tube you hook up to the pump, the higher the pressure and the farther the water will be pumped.

Question:	What could I do if the solar fountain pump doesn't work
Answer:	The only instruction is to add water or clean the pump then cover it with a dark cloth for 15 seconds to reset it. I haven’t had a single problem, but the users are encouraged to e-mail [email protected] with problems.
Question:	Does it work if bird bath is in shade
Answer:	Yes it does, but I found I need to charge it in full sun for a few hours, then I move it to my birdbath in shade and runs and runs! I really enjoy it and so do my cats seeing the fountain and fresh water, oh and of course bird watching!

Answer:	I believe so, at least I don't remember buying any. Plus buying tubing without knowing the exact size would be a pain.

Question:	Mine started pumping as soon as I took it outside but it is intermittent. Anyone have that happen
Answer:	I bought 3. They all work great. At first I thought I had 2 intermittent ones. Put unit 1 outside, no problems. Wanted to put the next one on the screen porch in my pet's bowl. Thought it was full sun. Units 2 and 3 were both intermittent in that spot. Moved them completely outside (no insect screen) and they both work like unit 1. Had to change the spray head on the first unit as it was so powerful it was sending the water up about 2 feet, and the wind was spilling the water out of the bowl. Will be buying more .
Question:	Does the one have a bubbler? We live in very windy Oklahoma and the water just blows away on the wind
Answer:	My husband took off the nozzler and just left nothing. That is the "bubbler". We are high wind here so that works for us. Just do not use any of the nozzles.
Question:	What’s the diameter of the product
Answer:	About 6 and 1/2 inches in diameter. Be sure that your bowl is at least 17 inches wide, or you may find that the fountain spits all of the water so high that it falls out of the fountain after a little while. I had to upgrade my bowl to a wider model for this reason.
Question:	Is there an on off switch
Answer:	No, but it does work when the sun is shining on it. It starts working better after a few days in the sun and some days it kept on working when it was cloudy! make sure it has enough water. We love it. It works it's little heart out. When the sun goes down it will stop but it starts again come sun-up!

Answer:	This is a fresh water pump. If it is put in salt water, the service life is not long.
