Answer:	The unit is 6⅝" wide by 4⅝" high by 1⅝" thick. The display is about 5" by 3".

Answer:	Haha! I can actually answer this! I'm right now testing it out, by putting the remote unit in the fridge in my camper. It transmitted just fine to the base unit including when I set the fridge to below 32°F. You can definitely put the remote in other rooms.
Question:	Does it also run on an AC Adaptor
Answer:	I don't see any. The instruction manual is for Model 02027 and Model 02022WB.
Question:	Can this be used with batteries only
Answer:	It is wall-mountable but is really made to sit on a horizontal surface. Re wall-mountable: when mounted on a wall the mounting hole is 1" away from the wall so you will need nail long enough to go into the wall and stick out more than 1"; the contact surface against the wall is round, not flat, so you have to play with the power wire in order to get the unit to not hang crooked; the power wire is black so is very obvious on the wall -- the wire really should have been made white; b/c the power comes from a wall outlet your options of where to mount this are more limited. Design-wise, wall mounting was obviously an after thought.

Answer:	Both the sensor and the weather station have batteries. No alarm on this one. Maybe others have one. I love it. Mine was a present from my kids last Christmas. I told my best friend about it, he was amazed. So I bought him one for his birthday. He loves his too. Would highly recommend this for everyone!

Answer:	Two separate units can operate together by selecting different channels for each but only one sensor is allowed per unit
Question:	Is the operational manual worth the paper it is written on. I bought a Meade weather station and could never figure out how to get the time to work
Answer:	the time is automatically set. It has what is called an inteli time (Not exactly sure that's what its called) feature that automatically sets the time date and daylight savings time. But if it does not work for some reason, the manual is easy to understand. I fact I have other products I got regarding weather are from acurite. Two stations and a weather radio, all easy to read manuals, including this station. Actually I did not even need to read the manual half the time. The station is easy enough to set up its essentially effortless. Unless you are trying to find a proper place for the sensor. But overall its easy understanding manual to read and easy to set up the station. I doubt you will have problems with the time. If you do I will be surprised, this station despite how cheap it is not bad. Mine has been surviving for 4 months in a tree outside my house, no issues. Also the indoor display is rather accurate. The station itself is actually designed to become more accurate the more you use it. So it may be inaccurate the first couple of days but after awhile it gets the forecast rather good.

Question:	Do i have to set the time manually or can it get its atomic time from fort collins, i do not see this model on acurite's website which concerns me
Answer:	I manually set mine. I did not see anywhere in the instructions where it says otherwise or if it can get the Atomic time. The only sensor it has on it is the wireless sensor to work with the outdoor portion of the kit so I'm pretty sure you can only manually adjust it. It was smart enough to adjust for daylight savings a couple weeks ago, but that's the only automatic part of the clock portion that I know of.
Question:	So the only way you see the data remotely with an iphone/ipad is if it's hooked up to a computer
Answer:	Yes, otherwise it just displays it on the Weather Station Display. If it is hooked up to the PC, the software is loaded that comes with it and you have an internet connection you will be able to view it anywhere you can access a PC that is also connected to the internet or a smart phone that also has internet capability.
Question:	Does this station need to be mounted on a pole, or can it be mounted right onto a flat surface
Answer:	The bracket for the 5 in 1 sensor has the short pole type top for the sensor to mount to and the base of the bracket can mount on top or on the side of a post. I screwed mine down to the top of my pasture fence post. Hope this helps.
Question:	Can I use this with out a pc and will is save data like year to date rainfall
Answer:	The display will save some data then you have to download it to a computer. Or you can get the Internet bridge which uploads to a free Acurite account and link it to Weather Underground as a personal weather station. That is what I did, no computer required other than setting up your account and you can view the data from a smartphone app.

Answer:	Measuring the area where the temperature sensitive paper is located, the thickness is 8 mil or 0.008".

Answer:	We do have a Thermolabel TL8-100 but do not offer it through Amazon because of the special shipping/special packaging required to safely ship low temperature indicators in warm weather.

Answer:	It marks when you get to the temperature that the particular stick is designed for. If your not getting a mark then your material has not reached the appropriate temperature.
Question:	how big is the display on the ceiling
Answer:	I had fired my .308 WIN brass five times and noticed that my groups had opened widely. Being a novice reloader at the time, I did an internet search and learned about work-hardened brass and how it can be corrected by annealing. I created a device that will rotate the brass while being heated with a propane torch for uniform heating. I put a "cam" on the rotating base that trips a switch that lights a light. I touch the Markal to heated brass to see if it melts. It's been a few years since I've done it but I think it took seven revolutions (approximately 10 seconds) to heat the brass to melt the Markal stick(~750°) which is the recommended temp that I found in my internet searches for annealing brass. You will want to start with scrap brass to get your time duration as the Markal leaves some residue on the brass that is difficult to remove.

Question:	I have a model 09155M, how many sensors will it handle
Answer:	The maximum channel number is 8, so you could have 5 on one console and 3 on the other.
Question:	I have acurite model 782. it says it uses 433 mhz signal. this outdoor sensor says it uses 433 mhz. but, i cannot get it to work. anybody
Answer:	At the beginning all 5 of my sensors were very accurate in both temperature and humidity. One year later one outdoor sensor failed on humidity readings and was replaced under warranty. Both current outdoor sensors show too high humidity readings, the deviation is way more than 5%. Indoors sensors also show higher humidity levels than they should, but the deviation is not that big. I have a higher end temperature/humidity meter and use it for calibration. One year ago all my sensors and the meter, brought in one location, showed about the same readings. It is not the case anymore. I live in Pennsylvania, where humidity levels are often 100% or close to it. Most likely high humidity damages the sensors, even 60% indoors humidity affects them in a negative way. It is a pity, I really like this unit. Maybe I should get replacement sensors or stop relying on humidity readings...
Question:	Does this model have the abc channels? my current sensor has that and it no longer works
Answer:	The USB device that shows up is the bare STM32 (STM electronics microcontroller) "HID" device, which is what shows up on the "non-programming" USB port of an STM32. What this means is that they wrote the code for the device to interact with their windows software, and that means that there is an API, but it's closed source, so no idea if it can be reverse engineered. It's possible that someone with an oscilloscope could see what is happening during the handshake between the windows software and the device when you start the software... if someone were so inclined, and write something in python to accomplish the same handshake and API. Unless it's encrypted, but i doubt it, at this price point.

The data is all text and you're talking about a lot of text just to get to 1GB.How many YEARS of data do you want to store on the card even if you have 8 sensors.Ive got data for 7 channels since May 8th. So we're talking from May 8 - thru all of June 1Total space used on the card == 2.03MB There are 1,000 MB in one GBLets say even 3MB for one month's data1000/3 = 333 months333 months = 27 yearsSo 1 GB card can hold 27 yrs of data

Question:	Replacing batteries on a roof-mounted unit is a pain. I have power there, so can it be modified easily
Answer:	You can convert "anything" battery powered to a AC converted application. Just match your voltage and amperage and seal the hole wire comes through. Easy. Just find a wall wart to match, solder additional lead wires, as required for length. Heat shrink the soldered connection. Given the 4 AA required, and I don't have this unit, my guess is something 5-6 volts with about 800 -1000 mA would work, just check the stats on it.
Question:	I know the manual says batteries in the display are for backup only, but does anyone know about how long it can survive on batteries
Answer:	I bought mine in 2016 & just had to change the batteries today 2/28/2020
Question:	What is the maximum distance between the outside unit and the display? Does the sensor need to be in the shade
Answer:	The distance is 330 ft. However be careful where you place the display from the station. Walls and other things can weaken the signal. It depends on what your house is made of. My house is primarily wood. The signal has no problem reaching the other end of my house (about 150 ft I believe). Also don't place the display near computers or radios or other electronic devices. It can cause interference with your station. Now the outside station it self is does not need shading. I actually recommend you place the station as high as possible (like on a pole on your roof, if you can't, place it no lower than 5ft-6ft from the ground) This ensures that your wind readings are accurate. The thermometer and hydrometer sensors are in the sensor and a internal fan circulates air past the sensors from outside, allowing the temperature readings to stay normal in the sun. Also make sure that station is in a wide open area with nothing around the sensor that could block the wind reaching the station. Typically I would say 50 ft from obstacles but I'm not sure how close. A lot of writing a know but hope this helps you!

Question:	I'm thinking of using this hygrometer to keep track of the humidity in my acoustic guitar's case. Do you think it would work well for this purpose
Answer:	I keep one in my guitar case, one in my banjo case, and one in the room I play music in (for when the instruments are not in a case). You may have to play with the geometry a slight bit to find the best place to put it in the instrument case but they work well for that purpose.
Question:	Does it display historically highs and lows, or only from the last day or so
Answer:	Sorry, I don't know. It was a gift for a friend's daughter who moved to Seattle and had some items sensitive to high humidity.
Question:	What size batteries
Answer:	One AA alkaline battery, ideal. Size is one of most commonly available. Lasts longer than AAA. Many similar portable digital humidity-temperature devices use smaller button batteries, which are less available and more problematic to replace correctly.
Question:	I wonder why it shows only even numbers for temperature. I've seen the same complaint by others. I put a fresh Eveready alkaline battery, same thing
Answer:	I have 4 units of the AcuRite 00325 thermometer and not a one ever shows even numbers for Fahrenheit temperatures, e.g., 72, 68. They only show odd numbers, e.g., 73, 75, 77, 79, 81. I've never set them to Celsius.

Question:	What are the dimensions of the power adapter? The wall outlet is recessed about an inch into the wall and I want to know if the plug will fit or bulge
Answer:	As far as I know lightning produces a signal at a certain frequency. I think it is 500 Khz. Yes the detector does pick up interference and will show it as such but will not log it as a strike on your HD display. Since it will detect any strike within a 40 Km radius you may not be aware of it and think it is interference. I do get the odd interference and it could be an electric motor start, cell phone or the neighbor's car ignition, maybe even an amateur radio station. Earlier models of detector had a problem but that has been fixed by Acurite.
Question:	Does this clock have a dimmer for night time? I want to use it in a bedroom, and don't want it to light up the room
Answer:	Our 8-temp Thermolabels are non-reversible white to black color change. If the indicator has changed to black, yes you would need to use another label for further testing.
Question:	Does this clock do time in 24 hour format
Answer:	Our Thermolabels are used for a variety of applications. Yes this product can be used for testing surface temperature of an industrial cage/rack washer. Please be sure the area where the Thermolabel is placed is flat and dry, free of any oil that would interfere with good adhesion.

Question:	does it have to be next to a pc and plugged in or can it be on a wireless network
Answer:	I found that putting it on the back of my iMac made the mouse skip a lot. I guess the metal frame of the computer -- or maybe the USB ports -- were interfering. I put it onto a spare USB port on my keyboard and now it works perfectly.
Question:	Does the USB have to plug into the monitor? If so, can I purchase an additional monitor? Is there a model that has a rain guage but is wireless? I don't want to have to stick the monitor in the computer room, but I want to be able to check on my iphone... Any suggestions
Answer:	I just got this mouse. I work in university and public libraries on a daily basis. You ask a great question, F. Campillo. I can aswer with certainty that this mouse does click, and if you work in those environments, you will not want this mouse. I'm leaving mine at home and going back to the expensive but effective Apple Bluetooth white, buttonless mouse. The Amazon mouse is just loud enough to be a problem to others in a quiet room (especially those sitting next to you or across from you).
Question:	Does the 01036 give the high and low temperatures of the day
Answer:	Info for the mouse is not confusing or conflicting. It is not Bluetooth, but requires the USB receiver. It works with any device with Windows or Mac OS 10; and which have a USB port. So the specs on the MacBook Air need to be checked carefully before buying - some have USB port, some don't. It's that simple.The model No. on the receiver is MGR0975, which is paired with the mouse Model No. B0005EJh6Z4. They are a pair, and yes they work with Apple with OS 10, but you need a USB port for the receiver. I don't use apple, but googling finds: Macbook air 11.6” display, 4th gen intel, Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, 1 USB Type C & 2 USB 3.0 (backward compatible w 2.0) Model MD712LL/A on Best Buy In fact, I wonder about that OS 10.9 Maverickssince the specs for the mouse say OS 10 only. Answer:	The one I just purchase comes with 2 AAA batteries not 3. Was working great when I first received it, now it doesn't work at all. Such a disappointment!

Answer:	The same thing happened to me with the outdoor temperature reading. It stayed on 71 for a week. I changed the A-B-C button on the display unit to B for 10 seconds and then switched it back to A. The outdoor temperature then began to display on the unit. I have a 75077 unit.

Answer:	No. It is concave in the back with a slight curveture which really restricts wall mounting. Also, this particular model is very hard to read from any distance. I went with the larger model which can easily be read from across the room.

Question:	My wind cups aren’t broken, but they won’t turn with the wind. Bearings bad
Answer:	Hello Chillintime, If your wind cups are not spinning, we would recommend using a graphite powder or spray lubricant to lubricate the bearings. To do so, put a very small amount of lubricant on the axle near where the axle meets the house and turn the axle to get it down inside on the bearings. Question:	Rain gauge quit working is there a fix for it
Answer:	I am not aware of one. I had the same problem and it appears others had too. I had to replace my unit after about 5 years because my rain gauge had quit working. The good thing is the up graded unit works with the monitor so you only have to replace the outside unit.
