Answer:	The fan is a part of the inflatable support and integrity of the structure. I’m not sure you can swap out the fan. Also it would be quite large for a standard car seat.

Answer:	I didn't measure it or remember reading the dimensions but I would say it is about 16" high at it's lowest and 3 to 3 1/2 feet tall at its highest. I was happy with the purchase.
