Answer:	Hello Joe, This is a floor standing model and I have used it many times with no problems. Though it works excellent, when I received my press it was missing one of the support beams that runs horizontal to the floor. When I contacted the seller--and left voice messages on numerous occasions--the representative never replied. Luckily, I was able to fabricate my own support beam (made two so they would match). I believe the missing part was a fluke on the production line...but be forewarned that in my experience customer service does not exist if you so happen to have an issue.

Answer:	No. There are no guide rods on this press. The picture is definitely NOT accurate. You'd think that the seller of this item (or ANY item for that matter) WOULD put an accurate picture of an item, so the customer at least has an idea of what they're getting....... NOT! All they care about is making money! By the way, this is a bench top press. not a stand alone.

Answer:	Yes the hand pumps work extremely well, or instead you can use an air compressor and a treadle hydraulic peddle to work press see YouTube videos for instruction
