Question:	Is there any water leak from bottom after running for a while
Answer:	The person who indicated this would heat the water has no understanding of the product and should not be answering questions. This device is a pond deicer used only to keep tiny hole open in the the ice to allow for the transfer of gases out of the pond. It will NEVER heat a pond no matter how much electricity. It ONLY turns on when the temp drops below freezing and off again once a few degrees above freezing. It only can generate enough heat to maintain a hole slightly larger than its own body. DO NOT BUY FOR A POND HEATER - Only as stated to use as a pond deicer to allow gas exchange.

Answer:	It’s a very long cord , but I would not buy this heater very poorly made.

Answer:	Thanks for your message. It sounds like you have had some bad luck on items that last other consumers decades. There are some inexpensive deicers on the market that are cheaply made and have a reputation for failing. However most deicers are very well made and last for many many years. I suggest either the Farm Innovators (except the PS200) or the Easy Pro brand. the one in this listing is a submersible deicer which sits underwater in the shallow edge of the pond. you still need to protect the area from high winds which can freeze the water almost instantly at very cold temperatures.The way to test a deicer is to put it in a plastic bag in your freezer for 1 hour. Once you take it out plug it in and it should start to heat up immediately. It was learned the hard way over many years that most customers who claim to have failed deicers just dont have it set up correctly. When they are forced to do the "freezer test" before they are allowed to return a so called defective unit they suddenly realize that it really does work and they finally admit that they did not really do all those suggestions in the instructions like they swore they did the day before. In summary, dont buy a $30 deicer and expect it to work more than one season, set up your unit correctly or ask for advice from your dealer, and if you have any doubts the unit is working pop it in for the freezer test. You will find you will enjoy many years of use out of most units on the market. Best wishes

Answer:	It may not be leaking directly from the bottom, but water following the mirage of hanging wires for pump and LED lights. I had to bundle LED wiring together with ties and secure up above access panel using a tie through two drilled holes. Make sure pump wiring has a loop down into water and then out. Have not had anymore leakage issues.

Answer:	The fountain makes a lot of sound when it is full. Also, the motor has a speed control for water flow. These two factors together create a loud sound.

Answer:	This is my third fountain and is by far the worst. You CANNOT level the three tears. You get one straight and the other two are crooked. Tthis makes for water pouring of one side of one level, and another side of the other level. Also now, after two years it just looks like the resin it is - junk

Answer:	I don't know what the red liquid is made of. It is not mercury. Typically, this type of learning thermometer use a type of alcohol tinted with red dye but I cannot confirm that is what's in this thermometer.

Answer:	I just bought this not too long ago. The thermometer itself is about 12 inches long, and the plastic casing adds another three inches. It's definitely bigger than it looks in the picture.

Answer:	Definitely not a koi. Maybe some guppies... but you would have to add a filter or they would all die, and not sure if they would get sucked up the intake pump? I'd say to be safe don't put fish in here.

Answer:	The pump isn't specifically made for the fountain. It just floats on the water. So, yes. You can use any pump you want.
Question:	Can the intensity of the water be turned down? It sprays everywhere and I have refilled it 5 times today
Answer:	Well, I have had same problem. Get a aluminum pie pan. put holes around the bottom. You may need a few small rocks to hold pan down. Put them around the out side of pan, so it dont interfere with the fountain. Bend the sides up so it keeps sprinkler in the center of bird bath. If it's really sunny it pumps very well. So I would cover a few 2 -3 of the solar panels this will decrease the power to the pump. If its sunny and windy. The water gets blown out of the bird bath

Answer:	That is a good question. I was concerned as well (cats, dogs and wind) In my case the fountain solved it’s own problem. I could not get the little solar unit to ‘stick’ to the bowl ( this flaw is mentioned in other comments) so my solution was to let the unit float in the bowl. To keep the floating solar onit from venturing too close to the edge (and spraying the water over the edge and draining the bowl) I added some small rocks to keep the solar unit in the center. It is a cute fountain. I bought the fountain for birds. Bees and butterflies are using it, sitting on the rocks in it. Unfortunately, not one bird has landed on it. A cascading, electric fountain in the vicinity is always loaded with 3 different species of birds. I hope this was some help.

Question:	Is the water sound more high piched or lower? Is it like the video in this Amazon listing
Answer:	The fountain sounds like a small stream trickling, it sounds natural. I don't know if that is high pitched or not, but its very soothing. Before each water fall there is a sponge that is used to regulate water flow. It does change it's sound when the sponges become clogged, but when we notice this we know it's due for a cleaning. We use it for sleeping, it creates a very nice atmosphere. Since it has multiple water falls, it really sounds like a little stream - best description in words I can give.

Answer:	I would guess 2-3 gallons.......not sure as the pump could burn up...we only turn it on when we use it...

Question:	Is cover on bottom basin removable
Answer:	There is a little bit of a ridge, but not much (less than 1/4"). It's not completely flat but it really depends on how deep of a recess you need. I bought this for my husband and he loves it and it was a simple install.
