Answer:	It should work with anything 12V. The wires are to connect the two batteries together with the isolator in the middle of the positive leads.

Question:	What gauge is the supplied wires
Answer:	I also trickle charge. I have the Battery Tender Jr. harness connected to the pos and neg of the main battery. This will send the charge through the one way isolator and charge the second battery. The blue light in the isolator will come on when the signal is sent through. If you put the harness on the second battery, the charge does not go through the other way, back to the main battery (from what I have been told). Hope this helps.

Answer:	Everything will work fine if over ride isnt used. If you touch that wire to ground it automatically switches from the start battery to the back up battery. I ran that wire thru a switch so i can switch between the two batterys as needed

Answer:	The idea of this isolator being automatic is to eliminate that situation. So you don't have to switch it manually. If you wanted to jump the start battery with your house battery, you would have use a set of jumper cables.

Be sure NOT to connect your two extra batteries in series or you will feed 24 volts to your auto computer and fry it. The 140 amp rating is just the charging capacity from the alternator. Most auto alternators are way below this rating. Only Fire engines and maybe some ambulances have alternators above 75 amps.If you are not sure about parallel and series wiring, search google for the two terms to see the difference. In parallel wiring, both negatives are connected together, and both positives are connected together. Series you connect one negative to the other batteries positive and make your in/out connection to the one terminal left on each of the two batteries.

Question:	I ordered and just received the battery isolator and realized my 1979 vw bus alternator is 55 amp. will this still work
Answer:	You should be able to put this isolator between your 2nd battery and the 3nd battery which you use for your inverter. What I like this isolator is that the main terminals are hidden in the back. What I don't like is that it is controlled by the negative wiring instead of an ignition controlled wire. Answer:	Put a trickle charger, battery tender, on one battery. When it hits 13 volts the vsr will turn on and will start charging the second battery as well.
Question:	when voltage drops below 13.3 does it open to second battery or does it divert to main battery
Answer:	It makes the relay inside switch to open/throughput mode.. I have not had it confirmed for how long, or the need to keep a toggle or momentary switch on it, or have tested it myself yet, but when activated will make both batteries in parallel and steps the amps up in case you need it to start the vehicle or maybe give something an amp boost.
