Answer:	There are 3 ports
Question:	Hi-will the suction cups work on vinyl fencing
Answer:	Doubtful most vinyl fences have a textured surface, if your has a completely smooth surface then they should work fine
Question:	do the suction cups stay on the window strongly
Answer:	These suction cups are the trickiest part. Best is to clean window, then clean window with rubbing alcohol then run a little warm water on scurion cups and shake off. You need to be able to push the suction cup against the window and push all the air under. I ordered to do that you need to detach the suction cups from the feeder, lined up correctly, push the cup against the window without the feeder attached. Come back, wiggle the cup and if secure slide the feeder back on. This is not easy and if you I’ve the cup during this the cup is not well seated and it would have fallen anyway. If you try to attach the cup with the feeder attach I was not able to push the cup hard enough to get the air out and it all fell several times. It’s a tight fit sliding the frame onto the cup.
Question:	What are the instructions for creating the food for inside of this feeder? I purchased one but lost the instructions
Answer:	I use 1 cup of filtered water to 1/4 c granulated (white) sugar. Heat to a boil, to make sure that sugar is dissolved completely. Removed from heat; let cool. Fill hummingbird feeder. Make sure the change food every 3-5 days depending on how hot it is outside. You don't want to food to get moldy or rancid. When changing food, just rinse out the feeder with hot water (if needed), do not use soap. Soap can leave residue in the feeder.

Answer:	The Jewel Box Window Feeder works well! We have 3 fancier glass hummingbird stations around our house and this little plastic one seems to see the most action. It has too suction cups and a nice wraparound perch. It falls far less often than other suction cup window mounts I've tried. I have recently replaced the small suction cups with larger super strong suction cups (using small screws) and that helps our a lot. Question:	Will the bee guards work on this feeder
Answer:	I do not have bee guards on my feeder but I don't remember every having bee issues with this feeder, I have had issues in the past with other feeders. I have had more problems with ants and have put oil on the red portion of the feeder just be careful not to get any on the flowers. This year I haven't had any issues with bees or ants. You may have to clean the window area where you put the feeder because sometimes the juice spills and the sweetness can attract bees and ants. Hope this helps.

In different areas of the country, the water you might use may have additives that are harmful... and the sugar used doesn't have the minerals they need, plus no dyes either. Answer:	I have multiple feeders and live in warm climate, they recommend changing out your feeders every 3 days or weekly...which I do. I have safely kept my nectar in the refrigerator for several weeks. This, however, is a good question that might be best answered by the manufacturer!

Answer:	I’ve not seen that as an option.
Question:	Has anyone had the feeder blow off the bracket in the wind
Answer:	I made sure to wash my window first, so the suction cups wouldn’t try to stick to dirt. Then I used a very LITTLE bit of water on the suction cups to create a seal. That’s how I got mine to stay up.
Question:	Does the whole unit have to be taken off the window to clean the reservior

Answer:	Attach a 3/4-inch thick piece of board a little bigger than the area of the mounts and orient it so that screws can bused to fasten the feeder platform to the board. To improve the appearance of the assembly use thin rope or coarse twine to strap the board to the railing.

Answer:	I have the small one and a larger one. That has never happened to me. After about 5 years the auction cups lost their ability to stick. The company sent me new ones!

Question:	What is the country of origin
Answer:	Could be the reflection of the window. There are some times of the day that the hummers won't come near mine. I've found that I most often see them at dawn or dusk. And it seems every time I'm about to close the blinds, one comes up, so I have to stand like a statue until it leaves so that it can get its fill.

Answer:	The Aspects Jewel Box feeder has a lifetime guarantee. The box says "The Jewel Box has a Lifetime Guarantee that covers the function of the feeder against defects and damage." In my mind that would include worn out suction cups. The box lists their telephone number as 1-888-277-3287 and their web site as www.aspectsinc.com. I'd try contacting them.
Question:	Will this adhere to a metal railing
Answer:	I do 1 cup of water to 1/4 cup of sugar. I boil the water and use 1/2 Cup of the boiled water to dissolve the sugar. I uses 1/2 cup of cold tap water to equal the 1 cup needed. The water comes out the correct temperature to fill the jewel box.
Question:	How are you supposed to attach the bead? There isn't anything to attach it to on the bead
Answer:	First clean your window and the suction cups. Make sure both are dry. A trick that I learned was not to use water on the suction cups. I lightly spread vegetable oil on the suction cups and they will adhere all summer.

Bee Resistant

The unique dome shape of the feeder lid creates a space between the feeding port opening and the nectar that is held in the base dish. A hummingbird’s tongue is roughly twice the length of the bird’s bill, allowing it to easily reach down into the bottom dish to the sweet nectar while bees and wasps have much shorter tongues and will be unable to reach the liquid. Though bees and wasps may still initially be attracted to the feeder, they will eventually lose interest once they find they are unable to reach the food.

Hummingbird Nectar

The formula for hummingbird food is simple: about one part white granulated sugar to four parts water. Boil the water for approximately 2 minutes, add the sugar, and stir to dissolve thoroughly. We do not recommend adding red dye to the nectar mixture. Cover and allow to cool before using or pouring into a clean storage bottle. A large batch of nectar can be made and stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. This makes refilling the feeder easy so you won't mind doing it every few days.

You must change the nectar frequently - at least twice a week. The need to change the nectar depends on the temperatures, where the feeder is hung, and number and frequency of hummingbirds feeding at your feeder. If the birds are not emptying your feeder between cleanings, it's unnecessary and wasteful to fill it completely. Fill only with the amount of nectar they will consume in a few days. Over time you will get a feel for how much nectar to put in the feeder. If you notice that the nectar is turning milky, or that white strings or black spots are growing in it, change it more often.
