Answer:	Rain doesn't ruin the bird seed unless the wind is high and blows the rain sideways. Plus there are small holes in the bottom of the container that will drain any accumulated water. Refill the container with bird seed and dump the old bird seed on the grass and birds will eat from the grass, too. Hope this helps!
Question:	How do I keep squirrels off my bird feeder
Answer:	The one I purchased has four suction cups. They're quite large and so far they're holding very well. It helps to start with a very clean surface, and moisten the cups with a little water. The instructions that come with the feeder spell this out.

Answer:	Yes, it can hang from a pole 4 foot high. Blue Jays have tried and failed to eat from it - at least mine can't - so far. The little birds love the feeder.

Answer:	A squirrel chewed one of mine off and then I moved the feeder where the squirrels can't reach it. But what I did was take a heavy twig from the yard and stick it in the spot for the broken perch and the birds still come and sit on the twig and eat. No problems. I'm sure you've resolved your problem by now but in case anyone else wonders.
Question:	Well, will this window bird feeder hold up in all kinds of weather? Will the seeds get wet
Answer:	With a little engineering a seed tray could be attached. It would need to be removable if you want to clean the feeder. BTW, this is the best engineered feeder I ever saw.

Question:	I need a response for how to get a rubber perch or I will return my purchase. I am getting no answer from this company, even after visiting their webs
Answer:	Millet spray is the same for all birds that eat millet. I suggest the California Golden Spray Millet for Birds - Premium Spray Millet in the 5lb box. (If you only have one parakeet you can buy smaller packages). Spray millet tends to be seasonal. At this time of year we are getting the millet that was processed last fall (or even earlier). This means that even millet with the best reputation for freshness can offer a slightly moldy batch. The California Golden seems to be the best looking and most preferred millet for my finches, cockatiel and parakeet. If you are only buying a small package of millet, buy it from a bird supply store because you can see the color in person. It should be light brown, almost beige when it is fresh. You can find it at wild bird feeding stores or places that specialize in parrots. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I would imagine it would be ok-- they need grit for digestion, wild birds usually can get this on their own except if it is snow covered

Answer:	I am sure that this is NOT the case, because it says 1/4 teaspoon weekly per bird. I think it means a small feeding cup that you use to feel small birds, only this small cup is being used for grit (along with another cup for food). (Putting out too much grit for birds can cause intestinal obstructions. This is also why I don't believe an eight-ounce cup is meant by this term.)

Answer:	typically we see the smaller birds...the only larger bird we have seen in the feeder is a cardinal and we don't mind them :)

Answer:	It definitely appears to be large enough for both blue jays and woodpeckers, although I haven't seen any at the feeder yet.
Question:	What purpose does the hole in the back serve? If the suction cups are pressed against the glass, you cannot access that hole. Period
Answer:	The purpose that I can see is a clearer view of the birds in the feeder. The suction cups and plastic distort the view some.
