Answer:	I have 3 different kinds of feeders. These Nectar Guard Tips would not fit on any of them. Maybe they only work on the one feeder pictured with the tips. I understand! We had bees the last two years. We had never had them around the feeders before. We've had no bees this year!! Google has some suggestions. They didn't work for us.

Answer:	It's a fibrous plastic material. Like what a desktop or something might be made of, it's not brittle plastic.

Answer:	Hummingbirds seem to live everywhere. I put up one feeder 30 years ago having no idea if I would get any. I've always had many hummers. But this year I decided to add a 2d feeder & bought this one. It got such a great response that I threw out my old faithful and bought another of these. Now I can barely keep up with the necter. But do realize that they should be migrating South for the winter so you may not see any. Or you may see lots since they seem to still be on the move and very hungry, at least in my area of northern california. I had dozens this afternoon, but soon they should be gone until spring. They love this feeder.

The birds prefer it to the red plastic/glass ones we had. The base is all metal so put it in the shade so the metal stays cool. To feed they go down into the flowers as they sit rather than flying and going up into it so with several types of feeders in the yard they always go to these feeders as they drink easier....

Answer:	A 32-oz bottle makes approximately 128 oz. when mixed 3:1 according to label directions. I usually "eyeball" it rather than measure, hence the approximate number. Oops, this answer applies to the liquid nectar. The jar of powdered nectar is 12 oz. According to label, use 7 cups (56 oz.) of water to the entire jar of powder. I have never measured how many the actual number of ounces it produces.
Question:	How often do you need to change the food
Answer:	For me, it depends on the time on the time of year you are feeding. When the weather is above 75 degrees, I usually let the food stay out only a day or so. I don’t fill the feeder very full so as not to waste food. When it is cooler, I let the food stay out 3-4 days. I always clean the feeder with soap and water before refilling. My hummers have been very healthy. I see the same ones every day. Good luck feeding your hummers. They are quite entertaining!

Most expert sources discourage dishwashing because it may not fully disinfect any avian diseases. Additionally, dishwashers could strip the paint off painted glass components or ruin the finish on metal components and it voids the warranty.

Answer:	i usaully fill the jar to the brim, after capping the jar... i grab the top of the jar (plastic part with hook) then grab the very bottom of feeder (plastic part with flower sippers and foot parking spaces) turn right side up very quickly....and gravity will do the rest... have not lost a sip since i purchase the feeders... they love it !

Answer:	Also, if you are hanging the feeder on a wire, wipe the wire with Avon's Skin-so-Soft. The ants won't come near it. I have a halo of it around my window feeder. They don't come near it.
Question:	Are there bee guards for this model
Answer:	I have 3 of the models offered here: 2 Ruby, 1 Diamond & 1 Orion/Twist; I've never experienced any "bee" or "ant" issues. I take down my feeders every 3 days in warm weather, dump the remaining homemade nectar (the only nectar I use and without any food coloring) and thoroughly wash all parts, inspect for mold and air dry. Warm weather I do this every 3 or 4 days. Once with another hummingbird feeder I had ant issues but it had a holder that was staked into a flower pot...never used it again.
