Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't machine wash these gloves. The gloves are mostly silicone, except for the cuff and the lining which are fabric. I've had these gloves for a month or so. So far, I've been cleaning them by just scrubbing the silicone glove part in the sink, then letting them air dry. After a while when they get really dirty, I'll probably toss them in the washer.

Answer:	My gloves measure 13” from index finger to bottom of glove. Measuring from my index finger to begging of wrist leaves 5” above the hand. My hand itself measures 8”. If you are going to dip your hands into hot water you will need to tie, or tape, the top of the gloves closed because they are wide and will let in water. Hope this helps.

Answer:	In order to answer, I just tried washing dishes in these. If I absolutely HAD to wash dishes in these, I could, but it is a LOT more effort. These gloves are pretty thick - great for the oven, but I didn't have the dexterity I need to wash dishes. It's hard to hang onto the dishes and make the subtle movements that hands make when doing dishes. For the record, I LOVE these for oven gloves.

Answer:	Size L/XL is a good fit for me (glove size 9). They're easy on and easy off. The fit is a little bit loose but no problem gripping pan lids, working tongs, etc. The tighter the fit, the faster the heat transfer will be, so somewhat loose is probably good. I'm a size 9 with the circumference of my palm being 9 inches and the measurement from the tip of my middle (longest) finger to my wrist also being 9 inches.
