Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't machine wash these gloves. The gloves are mostly silicone, except for the cuff and the lining which are fabric. I've had these gloves for a month or so. So far, I've been cleaning them by just scrubbing the silicone glove part in the sink, then letting them air dry. After a while when they get really dirty, I'll probably toss them in the washer.

No where at all is "SPF" mentioned. I'm sending back for that reason and they're too short for my long fingers. Don't think I can say which but l found a company where all clothes are "UPF" which is the term Ultraviolet Protection Factor of 50+ which is assigned to SPF on clothing. More expensive but worth it with the fabric and stretch.

Answer:	I don't know how the average person would/could test them at that temperature. They're wonderful for grilling, for the smoker, for reaching into pots of boiling liquid. That's what my son needed them for, and he reports that they perform awesomely. That's good enough for us. Where do you plan to use them that you'd need a higher heat tolerance?

Answer:	I have only used these gloves for smoking/grilling but they are very well insulated and expect they would work just as well in cold. Just try not to get the inside wet, I've had to dry mine on a boot dryer overnight.
