Answer:	I don't see why you couldn't machine wash these gloves. The gloves are mostly silicone, except for the cuff and the lining which are fabric. I've had these gloves for a month or so. So far, I've been cleaning them by just scrubbing the silicone glove part in the sink, then letting them air dry. After a while when they get really dirty, I'll probably toss them in the washer.

Answer:	I am a welder and I wouldn't use them for welding. Leather gloves are best and tig gloves even better for manual dexterity. These are great around the kitchen, grille, or kiln if you are a potter. These gloves are really are heat resistant but not made for the abuse welders usually deal out to their gloves.
