Question:	Iif these gloves become wet are they then basically useless against heat
Answer:	It's not threaded incorrectly, this is how all plumbing pipes thread together. Unthread carefully to retain the white Teflon tape already in the make threads. Add another fee wraps. The goal is adding enough tape that when you reattach, it gets tight when it's in the right position.

Question:	What is the length of the xxl? my son needs a pair for doing sou vide and they need to be long enough that they don't fill with hot water
Answer:	Perhaps. There is the small lever that you pull down that allows you to change the combination. Check to be sure that it has returned to the up position. perhaps it's stuck. But... be sure you know or better yet, reset the combination before you do. I believe you can make the locking lever work with the unit still open. Question:	I need a full XXL, not XL. Will these fit? Thanks
Answer:	The lock is terrible. I had the same issue. The change combination button is on the bottom and gets bumped while placing the lock on. This makes you change the combo without knowing. Return the lock when possible and get a "helmet lok" its much better and is bigger in size for about the same money.
Question:	Could I use these I the kitchen for dishwashing? And whenever trying to protect hands from water in kitchen
Answer:	Good luck! Same thing happened to me didn’t even get to use mine. I can’t figure it out either.

Question:	How to insulation effect

Question:	Can these oven gloves also be used for fireplace wood
Answer:	In order to answer, I just tried washing dishes in these. If I absolutely HAD to wash dishes in these, I could, but it is a LOT more effort. These gloves are pretty thick - great for the oven, but I didn't have the dexterity I need to wash dishes. It's hard to hang onto the dishes and make the subtle movements that hands make when doing dishes. For the record, I LOVE these for oven gloves.
Question:	Is the glove heat resistant and can it be used for baking cookies
Answer:	Size L/XL is a good fit for me (glove size 9). They're easy on and easy off. The fit is a little bit loose but no problem gripping pan lids, working tongs, etc. The tighter the fit, the faster the heat transfer will be, so somewhat loose is probably good. I'm a size 9 with the circumference of my palm being 9 inches and the measurement from the tip of my middle (longest) finger to my wrist also being 9 inches.
