Answer:	I can't answer with specific info, but from my experience I would say most grill rotisserie motors are geared down to turn at about 10 RPM. Some may be a bit faster or slower, but I think that is pretty close.

Question:	Will this fit Neapolitan Lex 730 bbq
Answer:	Hello, I believe you may be looking for a rotisserie for a Napoleon...This system is universal in nature and designed for fitment to most grill either directly or with modification. With that being said the Napoleon LEX series of grills will require very heavy modification to allow for fitment of this unit or any universal style system to fit and function properly. Specifically the mounting holes on the Lex as you will note are much further down on the grill than this bracket set will allow for on a direct bolt in place scenario. Ultimately this means the brackets would need to be mounted higher on the side of the grill which would require cutting a portion of your grill lid off. Generally speaking this certainly can be done, but if not desired we would recommend only sourcing a unit made specific to your grill model given the very proprietary mounting seen on your specific series of Napoleon.

Question:	What size should i get for a 27 in 4 burner charbroil advantage grill or does it matter if i get one larger
Answer:	Hello, For a 27" grill we generally recommend a 37" variety of rotisserie spit rod system as this is the closest fit without being too short (37" works with grills up to 31" in width). This allows for adequate clearance of brackets, motor insertion, and counterbalance mounting. For a 27" grill a 37" spit rod will still provide some "extra" spit rod to extrude on the off-motor side of the grill by several inches from the side wall/upright of the grill. Most people prefer this as it allows the counterbalance to sit out from the grill lid a bit and makes for a bit easier removal of the spit rod when hot (i.e. another location to grasp the spit rod outside the grill that is not quite as hot, obviously a glove/mitt would still be recommended). You can certainly go even longer if you wish, but I don't believe it will add any benefit for you and even at the next size up (45") you would be adding considerable length to the spit rod with no benefit and it may appear a bit odd on the grill with so much extra spit extruding; ultimately operationally it can be done however so I can't tell you it won't work, it just wouldn't be ideal for most people. Question:	Does the spit rod extend across the entire width of the Genesis, so it sits in both the side cutouts
Answer:	It does but it's a little tight getting it in and out. The round sections of the spit slide easily through the notches in the genesis. The square sections of the spit don't fit through easily. To simplify getting the spit out of the motor after cooking, I had a metal shop shave of some of the metal on the square section to extend the round part. Thus I can slide the spit out of the motor while the spit is still in the notches. It can work without modification, but I find it a lot better now.
Question:	How fast does this motor turn
Answer:	I actually got the motor and put a mark on the output. The rotisserie shaft turns at 3 RPM. Sorry for my way off estimate earlier. I will say this is the best rotisserie I have ever had. Absolutely no slack in the gears. Have not had to use the counterbalance at all.
Question:	How many prong/fork holders does it come with ? Should I buy an extra pair
Answer:	2 fork holders, each has 4 prongs. They are pretty beefy the prongs must be almost 3 1/2 long.

Answer:	Fits our S-330 just fine. Be aware the handle will block your side burner.. I never use the burner, so no big deal there.

Question:	What RPM does it turn
Answer:	This item turns about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 rpms. I use this item for turning fishing rods after I replace a broken guide and after the epoxy is applied to the wraps. I have built a dryer where I can dry up to 12 rods at one time. Not what the motor was designed to be used for, but being an engineer and a fishing rod builder, I just designed what I needed to use this motor and it works great.
Question:	will this motor run a corn roaster
Answer:	This motor has lots of torque. 22 lb turkey no problem. It will probably fail if you turn more than 100 ears. Problem will be starting up torque. If the load is balanced the running torque is very small. Big torque required to start a balanced load and even more if unbalanced. The commercial corn roasters probably have 1/8HP motors geared down to slow rpm. That from retired engineer.

Answer:	Hello, Thank you for the question! In short, no this item should not be used for any manufacturing processes as is intended for use on an outdoor grill rotisserie only. I have provided here special information that is included in the product description that precludes such an application: "Please note that this item is an outdoor use grill rotisserie motor and is designed for utility only in conjunction with outdoor grill rotisseries or other outdoor cooking appliances that specifically require the use of an electrically powered grill rotisserie motor for the intention of cooking food. This motor is not intended for use in manufacturing/coatings or in environments other than described." We have actually learned a bit about this specific industry over the years and this is the main reason we have included the above important statement in the product description. I understand that rotisserie motors are a popular perceived solution or re-purposing to the "cuptisserie", but they are just not well designed for that application. You will find that every rotisserie motor will work for awhile for this use, but they all fail eventually and prematurely where as on a grill they can often last 1,000's of hours. Ultimately a grill rotisserie motor is not designed for this application for some very targeted reasons. 1) 12 to 24 hour manufacturing processes will require a continuous duty rated motor designed for indoor manufacturing 2) Rotisserie motors in general are not designed to handle the harsh off gasses of epoxy coatings as it will degrade the grease and components of the internals of the motor and transmission. Answer:	Well, technically yes. However, one can purchase alkaline carbon batteries for far less money, and they last about 8 to 10 hours driving the little motor. The lithium batteries, on the other hand, will cost more than the rotisserie. Your call.

Answer:	Love mine too. I don’t think you can buy them separately but if you have a metal shop near you they can probably make some up for you.

Answer:	Pam, you can spread the spikes just under the three foot width of the rotisserie bar. You'll need approximately two inches on each end to make room for the motor and the uprights. The motor runs for hours on two d cells and has alot of torque. I must warn you of two things, 1- be careful when packing it up as the on/off button can be nudged and start running the motor. 2- when you are camping and you have a couple of chickens roasting on this rotisserie expect people to come out of nowhere in amazement that you can cook like this out in the woods.
