Answer:	It is a flat box but it does rest on top of the Weber flavor bars

Answer:	Not silly at all. Yes is a completely closed box made out of cast iron. The just lifts off and sits on with air slots made into it. It has dimples underneath the lid to keep it in place. I put charcoal in it and set it on the bottom of my gas smoker to add charcoal flavor (real wood charcoal, not the compressed brickettes). It not only adds the charcoal taste, but adds heat as well. I hope this helps! Sorry it took me so long to comment, this went into my SPAM folder.

Answer:	Like any smoker, it depends on how hot the fire is, how moist the chips are and how much you put in it A fully loaded chamber with wet chips over moderately low heat lasts me at least an hour. This is not device for very long smoking but an adapter for a grill.

Answer:	I would use this instead of the metal pan they are selling with their propane smokers. my son bought a M.......t smoker was having flareups.. i gave him a cast iron skillet and solved the flaw . this should work better.. also pellets chips and chunk wood work well in my propane smoker that is older and has a cast iron smoker box like this!

Answer:	The only ingredient close to this is sodium selenite which is one of the added minerals toward the bottom of the ingredient list. If you see the ingredients on the back of the bag, that's all there is to go by, there aren't any percentages of ingredients. There is marine microalgae (like seaweed) as an ingredient also toward the end of the list. Most of these ingredients are found in other dog foods. I give my dog seaweed flakes anyway for iodine replacement for thyroid and he has had heart worms. I feed my 100+ dog 3 cups a day of the flexitarian with low sodium bone broth and also cut up chicken, zucchini, coconut oil, digestive enzymes and extra vitamins and a fish oil chew. But if uncertain, ask your vet.
