Answer:	The bag is permanently sewn onto the inside of the cover near the back right leg. It is always attached to the cover. When I put the cover on I just tuck the empty bag inside and lay it on the lower shelf. The bag is much smaller than I think you're Imagining, maybe only 6 in. Wide and 10 in. long.

Answer:	I owned the 8701 Weber Performer grill cover first and it lasted me about three years. It was thicker material and sort of a vinyl on fabric. Over time, the vinyl like material cracked and the cover shrank a bit and it also developed leaks. I tossed it and bought the 7152 cover which is much lighter weight, waterproof (I tested it) and the material is single layer and seems flexible enough to withstand the elements. The only downside is that the cover is very and mine lifteup and blew off in a strong wind. Fortunately, it landed nearby. I put my charcoal container on top for now to hold it down and am going to use some sort of clamps to secure it to the legs. Admittedly, it was a 50 mph wind.
