Answer:	You can clean your grids with warm soapy water, but rinse thoroughly and dry them right away. It is best to do this when they're not hot! When the grids are clean and dry, rub them down with a hardy fat like Lard, Coconut or Palm Oil.

Answer:	The wick is on top. The only difficult thing is putting the fluid inside. There is a place to do this on the side but you will need a funnel. This product is very nice. I have two of them and love them!
