Answer:	I wouldn't...any penetration of the shingles, even with sealant around them, will likely cause a leak. Look at means and methods used by others for similar application. In my opinion, these mounts are intended for supportive surface, but not through shingles.

Answer:	You can glue the solar panel to the brackets, or you can use screw to attach the solar panel to the brackets. Each bracket has 2 predrilled holes, but holes are not open, which allows to use either the option of glue, or use the option or screws.
Question:	what are the dimensions of these z brackets
Answer:	Each leg measures 1 inch to outside.... will set panel up 1" off mounting surface. I used other material to pad up to obtain approximate 2 inch offset from roof to the bottom of my panels, (used 1 x 2 PVC material). The 1 x 2's are 10 ft. long and also attached separately to roof rafters. My roof system is metal over a detached garage.
Question:	Heard sikaflex can actually be too strong. you can't remove them when servicing. anyone ever tried 3m vhb tape
Answer:	The mounts themselves are not really designed to be removed. The "drill free" refers to the mount to the roof, I imagine you can experiment with various compounds. The drilling comes, with regard to attaching the panel to the mount, though for a non-vehicle mount you could also try something like RTVII clear silicone.. and get an adequate, yet removable solution. Check your roof for vehicle mounts, it turns out mine is paper thin, and I'm afraid wind load would tear anything on it off.... shame.. You'll have to report your findings with the tape.
Question:	What height are these Z brackets and how much weight will they hold
Answer:	They support a PV panel 1 inch off the surface. Since they are steel I would imagine they would support 50 - 60 lbs, but given that they are designed for PV panels I doubt you're going to encounter too many that weigh 200 lbs (4 brackets X 50lbs each). They do what they are represented for very well.

Question:	I am installing 400 w panel on top of my rv i was looking for a thicker gauge but this style type of bracket. any suggestions
Answer:	Used them on my RV for two 100 watt solar panels and after 10,000 miles the Wind forces were Strong enough to bend the frame of the solar panel and the brackets. I had to take the panels off and reinforce the panels themselves as well as mount more of these feet and use larger washers to help disperse the forces. That said I’m about to order some more for another install but this time I’ll use a lot of them, which will help not only with wind lift but as well as dispersing the forces generated by a heavy snow load.

Answer:	The seller makes this very confusing in the description. Our order arrived with a battery cable with two ring terminals for the (+) and (-) side of the battery. It's about 10 feet long with Chinese only writing on the jacket with no indication of gauge. However, since you need to wire up the two batteries in parallel, you'll need to cut part of the cable and crimp on your own ring terminals to make the connection between the two batteries. So in a way, yes, you do need a battery cable but only between the two batteries to wire them in parallel and there is plenty of extra with the supplied cable. Hope that helps!

How to Install?

1. Please use the accessories 1 2 3 4 and 12 to be the fix part of the bracket.
2. Please use the fixed part in Figure 1 and then add 5 and 13 accessories to form a tripod.
3. Please connect 6 7 and 11 parts to form 2900 C T-type Steel as figure C shows.
4. Please use the tripod in Figure 2, the 2900 C T-type Steel in Figure 3 and 8 accessories to build a frame as Figure 4 shows.Please use the 15 accessories to fix the frame to horizontal ground. Install the 14 accessories on the frame as Figure 4 shows.
5. Three-legged structure make mounting steady.
6. Adjustable angle from 18° to 30° Degree,right angle for best solar power.
7. You can put battery, controller, inverter at backside of the mounting system. It can save lots of room and use solar power system easier.
8. Fix the solar panels to the frame in Figure 8 with accessories of 9 and 10 respectively as Figure 8 shows.

Question:	Should I still use racking or rails to mount to a asphalt roof? Or are these brackets sufficient
Answer:	My solar panels had aluminum framing that I used to fasten the brackets. Once the brackets were secured to the panel, I just fastened them to my roof. They are strong enough to prevent any wind from blowing my panels off. Of course, if your panels are big, you'll need more brackets to secure the panels to your roof or wall.
