Answer:	The solar panel is used to charge a 12 volt deep cycle battery. The battery is then connected to an inverter power supply that converts 12 volts dc to 120 volts ac. The answer to your question is no it will not power the shed by itself. The more batteries you use the more power you can store. One battery and a 1000 watt inverter should power a light and small power tools.

Question:	Will this run a 4. 2 cubic ft domestic fridge
Answer:	No. To power that fridge on AC voltage (450 watts÷ 12 VDC = JUST UNDER 40 AMPS.) 200 wattage solar panels = 17 Amps. If your running propane then yes, there will be enough power to control the valves. Be sure you have enough battery storage. Renogy has great info on their site. Jim.
Question:	Does this kits come wih the connectors needed to run both panels in series as opposed to separate? Or does one need to buy additional connectors
Answer:	You do not need additional cables or adapters beyond what is in the kit if you want to connect both panels in series. That is how I have mine set up, so I can deliver higher voltage (and less amperage) from the panels to the controller. The MPPT controller handles this quite well. You only need an additional adapter if you want to connect the panels in parallel, but with only two panels and the MPPT controller, I don't know why you would want to do that.

Answer:	This system does not come with branch connectors. With the MPPT controller we recommend wiring your panels in series. Your Rover controller will take the higher input voltage and step it down on the output to match the charging voltage of the selected battery type. It will take the excess voltage and convert it to additional amperage to send to the battery.

Answer:	I live in an RV and I do a lot of boon-dock camping and my system works fine. Now in order for that to happen I need to keep my fridge on gas and not electric because of the amps it draws but my micro, TV, laptop, phone charger and heater motor all work on solar as long as my batteries are charged. My suggestion is to do some research as to how many amps the hot tub heater and pump draws and how many hours a day/week you plan to use it and calculate the amperage, how many panels and batteries you will need and if you want to run deck lighting change all you bulbs to LED and go from there. Answer:	you need to calculate how much amp per hour you need and buy battery bank to supply that, it will not run your equipment directly. Also, the solar will not fully deliver 400watts to your battery bank, it depends on clouds, what state you live in if its in a direct sunlight and how long does the sun last on average (remember winter too if youre up north). You need to do further research or hire a professional to set it up for you.

Answer:	Depends.. laptops can take around 50W, Cell phones about 6W, but the lights are a complete unknown. If they are LED then yes as they are probably less than 12W each.

Answer:	Yes! Just tuck the controller under the panel. We use this to trickle charge our pop-up tent trailer. It will charge even on rainy days, but not as fast. Rainy days it charge the same only 45% in an hour.

Answer:	I purchased this system to act as a 'test bed' prior to buying my main dual-axis 2 panel system (Two 250W, 24V 8A panels). It's a monocrystilline 100w panel stated to output 5 amps, 12volts. I see consistent 13~14 volts at 4 amps, and have hit 5 amps on really good days (but 4A are more realistic). As a test item, I had it charging a 73AH Deep Cycle Gel battery from West Marine (the panel came with a 30A PWM charge controller). It worked fine and charged the battery in a matter of short hours ( I have both an amp meter and a volt meter connected to track its output). Previously, I was using two 45W amorphous panels (Harbor Freight) that took up to 4 days to do what this one panel can do in 4 hours. Buy with confidence.

Answer:	They include "Battery Terminal Clips" . Larger than "alligator clips. THis is a very nice system, although pretty heavy. The cover is very thin and offers little protection. The Cord is approximately 8 feet long. Make sure you hook to battery first, before you connect the terminals from the solar panels to the controller.

Answer:	Keep the solar panel controller and Battery as close as possible then run your 40 feet to the fan motor from the battery. You can keep the solar panel up to 20 feet away from the controller with no problem

Answer:	If you’re talking about amperage then yes you can have a 200W panel if you wanted to as long as it’s a 12V panel!! The solar input is 25amp which means it’s only takes up to 25amp of charge. If you’re running panels alone no DC-DC , there are other options out there for your need.
Question:	Can i safely use an mppt-rover40 (with 400w solar input) in a 30a trailer? thanks
Answer:	Manual does not indicate cycling during alternator charge. Does say it will draw max of 50A. Will start charging when alternator voltage is greater than 13.2v for 15 seconds then stops charging if voltage drops beneath 12v. These voltages are for a traditional alternator. Smart alternator on/off voltages are 1.2v less.
Question:	I have an RV with inverter. Any precautions to beware of when installing
Answer:	Peak charging current is 50A. Technically the size of the battery is not a limiting factor. The issue is how long it takes to charge the battery bank with a constant output of 50A.

Answer:	Yes, This system is very versatile. I added flooded AGM as house battery and lead/acid as starter battery. Hooked up solar panels, works perfectly. I switched house to Lithium ION and put flooded AGM as starter. Works perfectly. As long as you have 12V power source, Alternator OR Battery, and 12 V ouput to a house battery system, this device does not care what type or combination you use. You can configured House type output, and system will keep systems charged. Solar charges house first, then trickles starter battery. Alternator charges started 1st, then fills house. Both charge extremelty efficient.

These panels charge a 125ah battery in about 7 hours in good sunlight. you need to find out how many watts the refrigerator is and convert it to amps. amps = watts / volts. 125ah battery can run 6.25 amps steadily for 20 hours. Here is a write up i did about solar power and power conversions. On a good day i get 18a of charging power from 400w of solar panels. good luck. I put an example of a refrigerator in my blog. Answer:	Not as shipped. I made a frame out of unistrut/kindorf to mount the panel to. I than used another section with a couple of hinges to provide a way to adjust the angle and used a unistrut/kindorf pipe clamp to secure to pole. I then used additional unistrut/kindorf and pipe clamp to fabricate a bracket to hold the bottom of the panel out the desired distance for proper angle to the sun.
