It was in a lightweight cardboard box inside a larger bubble wrapped lined envelope... That seemed good enough to protect it from shipping damage... I got mine in September of 2019 so I can only speak to the one occurrence from 16 months ago... If you order again I hope your experience matches mine.

Answer:	This should cover a 240 without issue and be oversized a bit honestly. I use this to cover my x720 which is more online with the 400 series of your tractor series generation. Answer:	No it does not supply separate fused individual outlets. I use it on a generator where the outlet that the cable plugs into is fused in the generator so all 3 outlets go down if the cable is overloaded. Still a great cable

Answer:	I dont think so. The transfer switch should be 4 prong with one being 240v. This cord is 3 prongs. There are 4 prong transfer switch cords available. That would probably be the safer choice.
