Answer:	These mounts are intended to be bolted onto the panel and then mounted on rails which hold the panels off the roof a bit. Mounting directly to home roofs without rails is not suggested. At any rate to remove the panels, just unscrew the bolts holding the mounts to the rail, which are accessible from the top hence, no need to get a wrench behind.

Answer:	I use quite a number of these mounting brackets on various panels but I have to drill new mounting holes in the panels.

Answer:	I have not, but I wouldn't try it unless you were mounting it flat against the roof. I'd be concerned about the wind getting underneath it at highway speeds. Another option might be to make the bracket removable and mount it on the side or in back of the RV while stationary.
Question:	I called the manufacturer of sikaflex-252 and they said this product is not recommended to hold down solar panels on rv roofs, is that true
Answer:	Yes, I think it would work fine for that.
Question:	Does this come with nuts and bolts to fasten a solar panel to the plastic mounts
Answer:	There was a photo on the Amazon sales page for this item and it showed the larger rack support holding a 100 watt panel. The photo did not say it was a 100 watt panel but I work with them a lot in the ham radio community so was able to easily spot it as being a 100 watt panel - you should be good to go. Most everybody has to drill at least 4 mounting holes to secure it to the support arms. Use a center punch, drill a small pilot hole then a bigger hole to match your machine screw size. My guess is #12 should be about right - I have the smaller size unit and #10s were what I used on that unit. My set up has a Genasun IP67 rated controller on the back side of the panel - makes a great neat/compact arrangement (I installed it there). The Genasuns' are pricey but they are water proof, compact and work very good - also sold on Amazon.

Answer:	Best way to store these FLAT would be to remove ONE of the bolts holding the support leg and either bolt all three pieces together on one end (remove bolt on other) or remove support bar entirely. I suggest the first as that way all the hardware is kept together. These supports are designed more for adjustment to sun angle, not as simple adjustment to FLAT fortravel. Can be done, just two more steps...Bolts are hand knobs so no real hardware for installation / adjustment (however may want wrench handy in case wing nut turns.

Answer:	As long as you don't mind sending the panels onto the traffic behind you.... I suppose if you drilled thru the roof and mounted them with 3/8" bolts and oversized fender washers it could be possible to keep them mounted to the roof. As for keeping the panels attached to the brackets; again, that's a mounting hardware issue. Think about the speed you travel (i.e. 70 mph) and add into that a headwind of 30 mph (plus gusts), you have a combined wind resistance of 100+ mph. Besides the strain on the fasteners and bracket, you would have a hell of a drag impacting your fuel consumption. In short, keep EVERYTHING as low as possible when driving. Reduced drag improves mileage and minimizes the strain on whatever you attach as well as minimizes fuel economy impact.

Answer:	The seller makes this very confusing in the description. Our order arrived with a battery cable with two ring terminals for the (+) and (-) side of the battery. It's about 10 feet long with Chinese only writing on the jacket with no indication of gauge. However, since you need to wire up the two batteries in parallel, you'll need to cut part of the cable and crimp on your own ring terminals to make the connection between the two batteries. So in a way, yes, you do need a battery cable but only between the two batteries to wire them in parallel and there is plenty of extra with the supplied cable. Hope that helps!

How to Install?

1. Please use the accessories 1 2 3 4 and 12 to be the fix part of the bracket.
2. Please use the fixed part in Figure 1 and then add 5 and 13 accessories to form a tripod.
3. Please connect 6 7 and 11 parts to form 2900 C T-type Steel as figure C shows.
4. Please use the tripod in Figure 2, the 2900 C T-type Steel in Figure 3 and 8 accessories to build a frame as Figure 4 shows.Please use the 15 accessories to fix the frame to horizontal ground. Install the 14 accessories on the frame as Figure 4 shows.
5. Three-legged structure make mounting steady.

Question:	Perhaps a silly question - but I don't have the solar panel yet. How does panel attach to mounts
Answer:	The cable is 4.5 meters long. The lights need to be placed a little less than 4.5 meters from the solar panel so that the cable can be plugged in. You also want to think about how visible you want the cable, and allow for enough length to hide it if desired.

Answer:	On my 170w BougeRV panels there are six (6) slots for attaching brackets to each. So, for your 6 panels x 6 slots you'd need 36 brackets. You should buy 4 of the 8 unit sets and one (1) 4 unit set.
Question:	what kind of solar panel can these brackets mount
Answer:	They don’t give you an actual weight rating, but tell you it can support a 300 watt solar panel that typically weighs about 42 lbs.
Question:	Can you use these mounts if your solar panels do not have a frame
Answer:	0.2cm/0.39inch
Question:	Do you mount these to the roof with van tape or screws
Answer:	I would call them a #8. They are about 1.5" long. Plated with something. They come with a silicone o-ring to seal above the bracket. I was concerned about the screws hitting wires that lay in channels in the foam under the luan roof of my RV so I used 3/4" #8 stainless steel screws (long enough to get fully through my luan roof cover but not go far into the foam). Because my luan is pretty thin (supposedly 1/4" but looks more like 3/16") I drilled a third hold and used three screws on each bracket. On the leading panel I used four screws per bracket and a third bracket on each side.
