Answer:	What does the label say? For southern lawns (I live in Orlando, FL), during the summer months only, I use Celsius WG. Very expensive, but a little goes a long way. Mixes at 1 tsp per gallon of water at the standard rate. And this stuff really, really, really, works. It is the only thing I have found that will kill crab grass.

Question:	We have a 2600 sqft lawn and a 4 gallon backpack commercial sprayer. How much drive, water and surfactant should we add to the sprayer
Answer:	I bought 1/2 gallon of XLR8 for probably 10,000 sf of lawn. I used 2 ounces per gallon + 1 teaspoon or so of surfactant on actively growing crabgrass in a bermuda and fescue central Arkansas lawn this summer. I spot treated the crabgrass, which had taken over probably 25% of the lawn and small patches of it in throughout. I've hit newly sprouted crabgrass or areas that I missed or that survived several times a couple weeks apart, and almost all of the crabgrass is dead. I still have more than 1/2 left. I don't think you would need to spray more than 1/4 of your tank at a time for 2600 sf, I would think 1/2 gallon would last you several years.

Answer:	Correction to my previous answer to your question: I mix 3oz Drive in 2+ gallons water and apply to 2000+ square feet, not 1000 as stated. This approximates the recommended (maximum) application rate for Bermudagrass of 1.45oz/1000 sqft. Another suggestion is to use 1oz per generous gallon of water per 1000sqft so you could use 3 applications (3oz per year per 1000sqft) and not exceed the manufacturer's limit of 2.9oz per 1000 sqft per year.

These herbicides are effective on a broad range of weeds  This is topramezone, more specific for crabgrass... It works... took 3 weeks for total effect for me ( took almost a week to start seein white) I tested a patch of clover and it worked on that too.. Answer:	This is safe for Centipede. I use it twice a year to kill off Torpedo grass in Louisiana. I use 2.5 oz to 1 gallon of water in a cheap pump sprayer. I learned to spray it after it rains but no additional rain in the forecast when the grass/weeds are actively growing. I spray it in the evening when it is cool since it’s all 90 plus here in New Orleans. This stuff works great!

Answer:	It's a product to make a spray to be used on the leaves of grass like you would use the Ortho ready to use product Grass-B-Gon which costs about $6 for a 24 oz spray bottle. ($24 for 3 at Amazon) The Ortho product would be better to purchase from ace hardware if you only have need for only a single limited use. This concentrated product could be used to mix with water and fill a gallon sprayer (4 oz gal) a couple of times or refill the 24 oz spray container about a dozen times. The Ortho Grass-B-Gon product says not to cut the grass before using to allow it to get to the roots. It is absorbed into the roots from spraying on the leaves and it's effectiveness used on just the soil would be at a minimum greatly decreased if it worked at all. It's a great product for when grasses are mixed in with shrubs in your garden and you can just spray the grasses and a few weeks later they are yellow and dead. Many grasses have underground root systems and merely pulling the exposed grass does not eliminate the grasses from your garden This product can be used on some of an invasive grass taking over your garden and kill them from the root by spreading throughout the root system

For spot treatment it says 2-3fl. oz. in 1 gallon of final volume of spray solution. Add a 1/2 gallon of water to your spray tank, for annual grasses up to 6" add 2fl. oz. of concentrate then top it up to a gallon with water. For annual grass up to 12" and perennial grass, add 3fl. oz. of concentrate to 1/2 gallon of water in your sprayer then top it off to a gallon with water. Keep agitating the solution during use.

Answer:	Most pesticides, herbicides included, require the applicator to wait until the product has dried.
Question:	How does this quali-pro brand of quinclorac compare to the primesource brand of the product
Answer:	North Florida. Worked 80% first app. 20% on second app. 5% came back after about 6 weeks. Label said apply no more than 2 times per year... Maybe i missed a few spots on first app. Satisfied for now.
Question:	Is quali-pro quinclorac 1.5 l liquid herbicide pre-emergent or post-emergent
Answer:	Celsius WG is a post-emergent herbicide that comes in the form of water-dispersible granules and is an excellent dallisgrass killer. Celsius WG is also great to use on St. Augustine grass, Bermudagrass and other labeled warm-season grasses to control perennial and broadleaf weeds. Answer:	I have used Ortho Weed B Gone on Crabgrass and it is a tough fight. It does seem to work quickly on broad leaf much better. On Crabgrass it may require multiple applications. I prefer an application of Scotts fertilizer w/HALTS in the spring. Doing this I get some Crabgrass but generally only around the edges. I use a 1 gallon pump spray so I can apply multiple times.
