Answer:	The bearings are marked made in China. They are sold by the Martin Wheel Company in Tallmadge Ohio. I just finished a 300-mile trip after initially installing them on a boat trailer and they performed perfectly. I think most trailer wheel bearings are made in China. Hope this helps

Answer:	The washer goes behind the nut and when you get the bearings adjusted bend one tab up on the nut. When you bend the tab up it prevents the nut from loosening.

Answer:	that is not a good number for a ALKO AXLE. ALKO axles are 2000# 3500# 4400# 5200# 6000# 7000# capacity etc... these would fit the 3500#

Answer:	It depends on what type of spindle your trailer is equipped with straight or tapered. My shaft was tapered. The best way to determine which bearing you need for your trailer is to remove seal and bearing and check the numbers imprinted on each. This way you can’t go wrong!!!!

Answer:	I assume China but I have no reservations about that. Bearings usually fail because of lack of maintenance and not the country of origin. It seems as though one needs to check annually at the end the season so that the trailer is ready roll when you need it next. Boat trailers are subject to the most trouble when water or salt water gets into the hub and has an extended time to start rusting.
