Question:	What is the short black tube for
Answer:	The short black tube is for clamping the small black tube off. Fold the small black tube in half and stick it into the larger tube to clamp off water flow.
Question:	What is the "end clamp"; how is it used? It's in the kit but there is no info anywhere on it. After a week, I still have no answer from Raindrip
Answer:	Closes off ends of 1/2" or 5/8" poly hose. It is used for the end of the line. Slide tubing inside one hole, bend end of tubing and stick into other hole. Works as an end cap like kinking a garden hose to stop flow.
Question:	Is it safe to leave the outdoor faucet on all the time when connected to this system
Answer:	As long as your faucet is not dripping and temperatures are well above freezing, there shouldn't be an issue. Screw things together tightly. I love the system for my hanging baskets, and my faucet is on all the time with a twice daily watering schedule when it is hot out.
Question:	How well do these installations fare after a few northern US winters
Answer:	I use these every year in Boston and always seem to forget to bring the timers in for the winter from my roof deck. Over the last 6 years, every time I’ve left the timers out they’ve been broken by spring. The one time I remembered to bring one inside it was fine though. The tubing and drippers are just fine throughout the winter, much better than other tubing I’ve used which bursts. Most of my original tubing is still kicking after 6 winters.

Answer:	Turn it on. If you’ve Made secure connections at every fitting, the water has no other outlet than the drippers . I have used an old roll of 1/4” tubing from years past, so I have more than 50 feet of hose And all of my drippers supply water. Make sure each dripper is not turned to far open.

Answer:	The total length of the tube is 24". If the tube is placed at the bottom of the 10" tall bottle, 14" will extend out from the top of the bottle. The tube can be slid up from inside the bottle in order to accommodate higher hanging plants.

Answer:	I’m not sure - you might be able to do that. I don’t understand why it wouldn’t hurt, especially if you use plastic tube - don’t know about a metal ones. One thing I don’t like about this is the tube has quickly gotten stained with green algae and is very difficult to clean. I probably should have cleaned it each time I used it.
Question:	What is the flex material made of inside the tube
Answer:	There is a bendable metal for inside the tube that keeps its shape. Will rust if you leave to full after using.
Question:	I put it together and added tepid water. No water comes out after squeezing. What should I be doing
Answer:	I fill the bottle to just shy of the top and it takes a good strong hand to get the water to come out. Make sure the bottom of the spout is in the water in the bottle. It only works for me for about 1/2 cup of water and then I have to fill it to the top again. It is very difficult to use.

Question:	How to secure the connectors ? When the sun is bright the black tubing gets hot, expands and the connectors just start popping out from water pressure
Answer:	I set up my system in March and we had a couple of situations where the tubing popped off. I didn't dip in the hot water and push all the way in with the connections. Since I fixed them all in April as of today I've had no more connections come loose. Actually bought more line and ran more to all my potted plants. So my entire system runs through our greenhouse and all the potted plants on the patio. Haven't had any issues for the price. I have everything set on a timer so it Waters 4 times every day.

Answer:	Hi, good day. Yes, running the system from a gravity supply definitively works well. Not much pressure is needed. This means it can be run from any reservoir of water, such as a rain barrel at your cottage, or any container. The main thing of course is that the water needs to run down to where it drips into the plants, so the water level in the container must be higher than the point where the water drips out of the tube into the plant. The tube can run down from the container, along the floor and then up and into the plant, so long as the outlet of the tube is lower than the water level in the container. To start it, insert the tube into the container and weigh it down with something so it stays at the bottom, then suck it through to start the flow. Once its flowing you can insert the tube into the Plant Booster device and adjust it for your plants in the usual way as described in the instructions. As soon as the plant becomes lighter (because it is drier), the device will unpinch the tube, and let the water drip into your plants. It can be used like this at cottages, or condos or flats with a balcony where there is now permanent water supply. You will just need to keep an eye on how fast the water is used - which will change with the weather. Mark a line on your container, let it run for a day or so and then you can gauge how large a volume you need to last you how ever long you wish to let it run for before refilling, such as when you are away on holiday. It can be used in the same way for house plants also. One side benefit is the ability to include nutrients in the reservoir to fertilize the plants at the same time - although this could result in an eventual build up or growth of algae in your container.

Answer:	You can use it for standing potted plants, yes, but some of the non-watering pieces included in the set (such as the tubing clamps) are only really useful for gaining watering access to hanging baskets.
Question:	Does this product need to be winterized
Answer:	Yes, bring the valve into a warm/non freezing room for the winter and blow out the tubes. I just did this today.
Question:	Can you add onto it to make it longer than 50 feet
Answer:	Yes, you can buy additional tubing and make it longer. Water pressure will be your only limiting factor. The system come with a 25 psi regulator that is installed at the valve. Tubing probably cannot handle anything higher than the 25psi.
Question:	can i have more than 6 pots on a line
Answer:	ABSOLUTELY!! I had 18-20 on mine last summer & all was happy.

Answer:	I don't have a clue about a three finger ergonomic trigger. Sounds like a miss-print to me. You squeeze the bottle to water the plant.
Question:	Is it possible to get an even longer tube for high house plants? Trying to eliminate a step stool
Answer:	You could probably extend the rigid tube inside the bottle with a piece of flexible tubing from a hardware store, giving you another 10-12" of reach. Anything beyond that and you would be pretty much manufacturing your own device (which can be pretty cool).

Answer:	quart size container with straw-sized, hooked tube ,that extends about 10 inches which will allow water to come out. the straw-like tube extends even more but will be too far out of the water.i have 2 items one is called long reach plant waterer that is what i am describing. i have bad shoulders and my ceilings r standard and i can reach and water all my plants.depending on your home if u have really high ceilings u could get a piece of tubing from ie home depot piece a psection in and extend your waterer.
